so i've got that "Safe Person, Safe Place" logo on my door... and also a bumper sticker that says Queer the Turtle...Support LGBT Studies. And I came back today and someone wrote a note on my dry erase board that said "I admire your courage w/the signs on the door

I got my roommate and her friends banned from my room at Wheeling because a-holes were writing shit on my dry erase board...and that wasn't even related to what is on your door!

What's a Queer the Turtle and what if they disagreed with your bumper stickers so much they were like "you have courage because you should be afraid" like a threat sort of thing you know.

and queer the turtle is the logo of the lgbt studies department. because our mascot is a turtle...and we're queering it..

its better that its a semi-compliment than a threat, and if the person really needs someone to talk to, then i hope that they will come to you knowing you are safe.
