A/N: Kyuhyun's older than Sungmin by 2 years. ^^
They've been kissing for more than a minute now, and it was gonna extend if Kyuhyun didn't pull away. "I don't blame you for realizing just now, but remember that you'll always be my Mrs. Cho. You and you alone" Kyuhyun spoke as he cupped her face and brushed away the tears that were gently falling one by one from her eyes.
Sungmin couldn't utter a word as she was still surprised from the sudden kiss and both pain and regret were flowing over her after hearing Kyuhyun's statement. She married Kibum, because she doesn't want to hurt him anymore and because she found out that Kyuhyun was already with Zhou Mi, but was it also because she loves him? Sungmin was still spacing out, when Jinki suddenly entered their office and was shocked with the scene in front of him.
"What are you two doing?!" They were expecting him to be mad because it looked like Sungmin was having an affair even though it hasn't been a week since she got married with Kibum. The former still had her arms on Kyuhyun's chest, while the latter still had his arms on her waist. They sighed a relied when he spoke again. "You're supposed to be working, not being romantic with each other!"
"Sorry, sir.. We were just practicing on a scene for the upcoming film you told us about.." Kyuhyun used it as an excuse. It wasn't a lie though, because the papers Sungmin was going to sign was about the upcoming film they were going to produce next year.
"If you want to be actors, you should've just auditioned! Go back to work" Jinki ordered them and placed another batch of papers to be signed on Sungmin's desk then left the room. Sungmin immediately went back to her desk and continued signing the papers while Kyuhyun just sat in front of her desk, staring at her.
No one dared to speak between the two of them and they just let the silence enveloped them. With no one still talking, Kyuhyun decided to leave Sungmin for a while. He knew that she needed space and he was also aware that what they're doing was wrong and would only cause harm to Kibum and Sungmin's marriage, but at the back of his mind, he didn't care, because Sungmin loves him, more than Kibum.
When he got back to her office, Sungmin was still drowning herself in the papers. "Where did you go?" He was surprised when she suddenly spoke. Kyuhyun just smiled at her and placed the lunch he brought for them on Sungmin's desk. The girl smiled at him and got up from her chair to see what they were going to eat.
The two of them sat on one of the couches in front of her desk and ate the steak with rice and steamed vegetables. "What are we going to do now? It's bad for you to have an affair, you know" Kyuhyun spoke up as he wiped the steak sauce that was on her lips.
"I don't know, Kyu. I really don't know.." It was all Sungmin said as thoughts continued to flow in her mind. She loves Kyuhyun, she really does, but she didn't realize it earlier, before she married Kibum to be exact. What's bothering her too, is that, Kyuhyun's not even worrying about Zhou Mi. The way he talks, the way he acts in front of Sungmin, he doesn't look like he has a girlfriend.
Night time came, and Sungmin still hasn't finished signing the papers. As for Kyuhyun, he would go in and out of her office to attend to the other things he has to do as well. He brought them dinner, but this time, it was Japanese food.
"Cho Kyuhyun! I was gonna buy us dinner" Sungmin looked up from her work and tried to give Kyuhyun an annoyed look but failed, making the two of them laugh.

Months have passed and the two would give each other hugs and kisses while inside Sungmin's office. Even with Kyuhyun always running inside her mind, thoughts of Kibum would appear every now and then, making her guilty of what she was doing.
The closer she got to Kyuhyun, the more she fell out of love with Kibum. Her husband, however, tried seducing her at times, so they could already have a child of their own, but Sungmin would avoid his touches and say that she's tired or that she wants to sleep already.
Kibum would just let her get away with her excuses, knowing that he, himself, was also tired of handling a company. He pushed the idea of having their own child soon at the back of his mind and told himself to just wait for the right time.

Sungmin was already asleep, but Kibum was still drowning in his thoughts. He noticed that Sungmin wasn't as sweet as before, but whatever reasons he thought of, he just accepted the positive ones. Silence was all he heard, until Sungmin moaned out a name that made him angry. "Kyu.. Kyuhyun ah.."
Kibum was about to wake her up but decided not to, thinking that she might say more things that might give him answers to his question on why Sungmin was acting strange lately. She continued moaning his name, but what made him angrier was when he heard the three words that Sungmin should only be saying to him. "I love you.. I love you so much.. Kyuhyun.."

The next morning, Sungmin was surprised to see Kibum already having a head start on breakfast. "Bummie ah, why didn't you wait for me?" The latter didn't answer her and continued eating his breakfast. She asked her once again, but she was surprised when he threw an envelope to her face.
Sungmin was already on the verge of crying, but she decided not to and pick up the envelope that was already on the floor. When she took out the content of the envelope, she couldn't move from where she was standing. In her hands, were photos of her and Kyuhyun, doing sweet things together in her office.
"K-Kibum.." Sungmin tried to speak but wasn't able to finish as a slap landed on her face. Kibum thought he would never do these things to his wife, but because of jealousy and anger, he couldn't stop himself.
"This is how you work?! You're already married, Sungmin! You said you didn't want to hurt me, but what are you doing?! You've been cheating on me with your ex-boyfriend! He hurt you before, Sungmin! He gave himself to someone else when you were still together! How can you forgive him just like that?! How?!" Kibum exploded right before her.
Sungmin finally gave in and started crying. Every word Kibum spoke was like an arrow that pierced every part of her, especially her heart and her brain. She didn't know how to respond, as guilt and pain filled her body. Thoughts of the past came flashing through her mind again and opened them to the reality she was supposed to be facing.
Was it because her love for Kyuhyun was so unexplainable that she was able to let go of the painful past that easy? Was it because Kyuhyun was everything Kibum wasn't? Sungmin couldn't tell, so she left Kibum burning in anger while she headed to her work.
When she got to her office, Kyuhyun was already waiting for her, but the latter was surprised when he saw her cheeks stained and tears still flowing from her eyes. "Sungmin! What happened?" He pulled her into a hug and let her cry on his shoulders.
"K-Ki-Kibum.. H-he.. k-kn-knows.." Kyuhyun didn't know how to react as he pulled the pictures that Sungmin was holding. His eyes widened when he saw their photos, showing the love they had for each other. What bothered him most, was who could do this to them?
Thoughts filled his mind again on how he was supposed to handle the situation. He was aware that Sungmin was already committed, yes, but no matter how hard he tried to register it in his mind, both of them were madly in love with each other.
Without even thinking, Kyuhyun blurted out something that shocked the girl in his arms. "Sungmin ah.. If you were to choose, who would you stay with?"
