KYUHYUN'S POV
"Cut! Job well done everyone. See you next week" The director shouted as I said the last line that was written on my script. We just finished filming for the first episode of an upcoming drama called "Happy Together". I made my way back to my dressing room and started packing my things.
"That went well" Jonghyun, my personal assistant and friend, spoke as he helped me with my things. One of the things I loved about being an actor was that I have someone to assist me at all times, but even if I have Jonghyun, I don't let him do all the work.
"Yup. And I can't wait to film for the next episodes, my leading lady looks really hot" I said with a smirk on my face as we made our way out of the location and back to the car. The driver took the bags I was carrying and he and Jonghyun placed them in the compartment.
"That's what you always say, but honestly, no one could be compared to Sung-" I glared at him before he could even finish saying that name. The name I've been trying to forget for almost 3 years now. It's been a long time since I last saw her, but the pain I felt when I left her was still lingering in my heart.
"Do I still have other schedules for today?" I asked so he wouldn't tease me anymore.
"There's still one more; We're going to meet up with your new manager" Jonghyun said while he was browsing through his phone.
"Oh, alright then" I decided to take a nap first since it was long drive back to the city. I put on my headphones, pressed play on iPod and drifted off to sleep.
NORMAL POV / FLASHBACK
"I didn't think you'd ever leave me, Kyu" Sungmin said, crying her heart out as she watched Kyuhyun gather all of his things in their apartment and place it in the suitcase that was laid out in front of her. She tried really hard to stop him from leaving, but she failed, knowing that he was unstoppable when it comes to getting what he wanted, especially his dream.
"I want to go after my dream, but you're the only that's stopping me" Kyuhyun replied, his pride and selfishness overpowering him. He wanted to become an actor, so bad, but even though he loved Sungmin, he still chose his dream over her, thinking that it was the best for him and that he would find someone like her eventually.
"I hate you! I hate you so much!" Sungmin continued crying, but before she could even say it to him, Kyuhyun had already left their apartment and left her; broken, alone and pregnant with his child.
END OF FLASHBACK
KYUHYUN'S POV
"We're already here!" Jonghyun beamed while he was trying to wake me up from my deep slumber. "And wipe your drool" He told me and I felt embarrassed realizing that I drooled in my sleep.
We got out of the car and went inside the SM Entertainment, my agency, building. While we were walking, a little girl accidentally bumped into me and I couldn't help but smile at her because she was so cute.. So cute, like her. I spaced out and kept staring at the girl, thinking that she did look just like her.
"Taemin! Taemin! Taemin!" I was brought back to my senses when I heard a man calling out to the little girl that was staring at me.
"There you are. Oh, and you found Cho Kyuhyun" The man said while he brought up the little girl to his arms. "Hi. I'm Lee Jinki, but you can call me Onew" The man named Onew extended his hand out and the little girl named Taemin pulled it back. "Ah, and this is Taemin, one of your fans" The little girl then giggled. I couldn't help myself, so I gave her cheeks a soft pinch and I smiled at her.
"Onew! Oh, did she run away again?" A woman ran towards the man in front of us. Her voice was so familiar. When she turned around, my senses were right, it was her, and my heart couldn't stop beating fast. It has been a long time and she had bloomed into a beautiful lady. Both of us could only gape at each other.
"Sungmin? What are you doing here?" Jonghyun was the one who brought us back to our senses.
"Umma! Umma!" Taemin beamed while trying to reach out to Sungmin. Wait, she's Sungmin's daughter? I couldn't help but feel surprised as both pain and regret went through my body. Sungmin had moved on, more importantly, she's now a mother.
"I'll be working here as an SM artist's manager. They told me I was going to meet him today" Sungmin replied while taking away the little girl from Onew's arms.
Jonghyun and I were taken aback. She's my manager?
