Summary: He left her without knowing that she was carrying a part of him. She moved on with her life and with their daughter. But when destiny decides to reset everything between them, will they allow it to?

After 3 hours of waiting, Kyuhyun finally saw Onew and Sungmin come out of the hospital. If the latter didn't follow Sungmin, then he would've been worried sick at home because his wife hasn't come back after 3 hours. When Onew and Sungmin finally hailed a cab and got in, Kyuhyun turned on his car and followed the two.
When the cab Onew and Sungmin were in finally stopped in front of the condominium where Kyuhyun's dorm was, Sungmin got out of the cab and bid goodbye to Onew who remained inside the vehicle. Meanwhile, Kyuhyun parked his car in the condominium's basement and ran towards the elevator to get back to his dorm before Sungmin.
While in the elevator, Kyuhyun kept wishing that the elevator wouldn't stop on the ground floor or else Sungmin will get mad at him for leaving Taemin in the dorm, but he himself was also mad at Sungmin for lying to him. He planned on questioning the Sungmin as soon as they are back in his dorm.
Luckily, Sungmin walked slowly towards the condominium. She was rubbing her not-so-flat belly and was talking to her baby. When she was finally inside, she pressed the elevator's "Up" button and waited for one of the elevators to stop on the ground floor.
One elevator finally went down and she got in as soon as the door opened. Good thing there were 3 elevators or else she would have had to wait for forever for the first one to come down all the way from the rooftop and the second one to come down all the way from the 20th floor, where Kyuhyun's dorm was located.
When Kyuhyun stepped out of the elevator, he felt relieved that it skipped the ground floor and he walked fast towards his dorm. He pressed the doorbell, but neither Jonghyun nor Taemin opened the door. "Aish, I forgot, I have a key" Kyuhyun groaned as he used his key and opened the door. "Jonghyun! Taemin! Where are you?" Kyuhyun yelled as soon as he stepped inside and was greeted by nothing but silence.
While Sungmin was in the elevator, she continued rubbing her belly and talking to her baby, even though the bump wasn't visible, yet. "What are we going to do, baby? Should I tell your appa?" Sungmin spoke. When the elevator finally stopped on the 20th floor, Sungmin got out and walked slowly to Kyuhyun's dorm. She was so nervous about the news and she knew she lied to her husband, so while she was walking, she was thinking of an explanation for why she took so long to buy what she needed.
When Sungmin pressed the doorbell, the door opened and she was greeted by a very angry Kyuhyun. "What's wrong, Kyu? Did Taemin wake up already?" Sungmin asked as she stepped inside, nervous and afraid of what her husband was going to say or ask.
Sungmin became more nervous when Kyuhyun slammed the door and turned around to face her. The latter walked towards her and gripped her shoulders, making her yelp in pain as tears started to form in her eyes. Kyuhyun has never hurt her before, but no matter what happens, she still won't tell him what she really did.
"Where were you? Who were you with? Don't lie to me!" Kyuhyun yelled.
"I-I told you.. I-I went to buy s-something.." Sungmin replied, tears finally falling from her eyes. "You're hurting me, Kyu.." She added.
Kyuhyun didn't want to yell at Sungmin, but because he was so angry and jealous, he exploded. No matter how he tried to control himself from getting mad at her, he just couldn't, because she lied, and what made it worse was she was with Onew. "You went to buy what? I saw you with him and I saw you two come out of the hospital!" Kyuhyun yelled again, but this time, tears were also starting to fall from his eyes.
"You followed us?! I told you to look after Taemin!" Sungmin pushed Kyuhyun away from her and slapped him. She didn't like seeing Kyuhyun crying or angry, so she decided to tell half of the truth to calm the latter down. "I went to the hospital with him because he was sick and wanted me to come with him" Sungmin spoke. She didn't want him to find out about her pregnancy yet, so she had to lie again.
"Why didn't you want me to come with you? I called Jonghyun to watch over Taemin just so I could follow you" Kyuhyun finally went back to his normal self as he pulled Sungmin for a hug, tears still continued pouring out from their eyes.
Sungmin had to think of another excuse so Kyuhyun wouldn't question her anymore. "I knew how you get jealous easily, so I didn't want you to come" The former wished that the latter would finally believe her, and she was happy when he finally did.
"I'm sorry, baby, but please, don't lie to me again, okay? I trust you and I love you so much" Kyuhyun said as he wiped Sungmin's tears and his as well.
"I'm sorry.." Sungmin said as she tightened her hug around Kyuhyun. "I'll tell you soon enough.." She thought to herself.
The two were still hugging when the door opened and Jonghyun and Taemin entered the dorm. "Umma! Appa!" The latter said as she made her way between her parents and hugged them. "Jonghyun ahjusshi brought me to the rooftop! There was a lovely garden there, but he said I'm not allowed to pick any flowers" She narrated with a pout and the three adults could only giggle at her cute action.

The next day, Sungmin woke up because of her phone's continuous beeping. She grabbed her phone from the bedside table and looked at the caller ID. The number wasn't registered in her phone, but she chose to read the text message which contained:
Lee Sungmin,
Meet me at the Sapphire Blue Cafe later at 9 AM. If you don't come, then get ready for what's going to happen to you, Cho Kyuhyun and your daughter.
Sungmin felt like fainting after reading the message. Someone did catch them at the botanical garden. Being the protective wife and mother that she was, she didn't want anything to happen to them, especially to their daughter, so she decided to move fast since the time was already 8:30 AM.
Before leaving, she gave Kyuhyun a kiss on the lips and Taemin a kiss on the forehead. While Sungmin was making her way to Sapphire Blue Cafe, she couldn't help but feel worried and at the same time nervous on who was blackmailing them.
When she got to the said cafe, she was greeted by a tall guy at the door. "Hello, Sungmin" The guy greeted her and she immediately knew that this was the person who sent her the text message. She let the guy drag her to their table as a waiter approached them and gave them coffee.
"Who are you? What do you want from my husband and my daughter?" Sungmin spoke as soon as the waiter left.
"So, it is true. Cho Kyuhyun already has a wife and a daughter" The guy laughed, which made Sungmin glare at him. "I'm Choi Minho, the editor-in-chief of the magazine, "The Real Deal". Someone asked me to keep a close eye on Cho Kyuhyun. When that someone saw these family pictures, well, she wanted you-" He got cut off as he placed the pictures on the table.
"Get to the point already!" Sungmin beamed, anger evident on her face.
"Tsk, so impatient. Stay away from Cho Kyuhyun or I will spread these photos and ruin his career. Take your daughter with you and cut off all your communications with him" Minho said and Sungmin could only stare at him with wide eyes. "That's all. Goodbye" Minho added as he stood up and left.
When Sungmin was on her way to the dorm, she couldn't help but cry as she thought of what she was going to do. She loves Kyuhyun so much that she doesn't want to be separated from him again, but of course, she had to think of Kyuhyun's career too, as well as Taemin's life.
As soon as she got back to the dorm, Kyuhyun and Taemin were already awake and were surprised to see her come enter the place. Kyuhyun stood up from the couch and pulled her to a hug. "Where have you been?" Kyuhyun asked as he broke the hug.
"I went out for a walk.." Sungmin lied.
"Why didn't you wake me up?" Kyuhyun asked as he kissed her forehead.
"You were sleeping so peacefully, I didn't want to wake you" Sungmin replied as she cupped Kyuhyun's face and kissed him on the lips.
"I would choose you over my sleep.." Kyuhyun answered as he broke the kiss and smiled at her.
"I love you, Kyu, but I don't want to put you and your career in danger.." Sungmin thought to herself.

It was only 1 AM the next day when Sungmin woke up. After giving it much thought last night, she decided to leave Kyuhyun. She loves him, so much, but he doesn't want to ruin his reputation and his career. Even though he told her that he'd choose her and Taemin over anything, she still didn't want him to let go of something he worked hard for.
Sungmin prepared her things and placed them in her suitcase. After packing, she wrote a note and left it on her pillow as she gave Kyuhyun a flying kiss, tears freely flowing from her eyes. Sungmin left the room slowly and went to Taemin's room to wake the latter up.
"Taemin, we're gonna go somewhere, okay? But appa won't be going with us" Sungmin said when Taemin finally got up from her bed.
"But why?" Taemin asked as she moved towards her mother who was now placing her things in her suitcase.
"Your appa's too busy. Just come and help umma with your things" Sungmin replied and Taemin just followed her mother's order.
When they were done packing, Sungmin and Taemin left the room quietly.

When Kyuhyun woke up that morning, he was surprised to see the closet open. His clothes were there, but Sungmin's weren't. Kyuhyun panicked and went out of the room immediately. When he checked Taemin's bedroom, it was already empty, except for the messy bed and the toys he bought for her.
Tears were already flowing from his eyes as he went around the dorm, but didn't see any signs of his wife and his daughter. Then it dawned on him, they left him. "What did I do wrong?" Kyuhyun thought to himself as he walked back to his bedroom.
When he saw the note on Sungmin's pillow, he ran towards it and read it. He cried harder as he read the note:
Kyuhyun,
As much as we wanted to stay by your side forever, we can't. There are things that are better left unsaid, but I want you to remember that Taemin and I will always love you. Please take care of yourself and continue being the good actor that you are. We hope to see you again someday, but I think that someday will have to wait. Thank you so much for everything, Kyu.
