Cho Kyuhyun and Lee Sungmin were placed in an arranged marriage by their grandparents.
It really was the latter's grandparents that started the whole thing. They were the best of friends with the former's grandparents. Thinking that the two looked good together was what brought the four elderly people to plan everything.
"Please, Minnie. This is all I ask of you"
"But grandma, I don't even know him!"
"Sweetie, you're grandma and I were in an arranged marriage too, but everything fell into place, right?"
"Grandpa!"
As for Kyuhyun, well, it was different. He didn't complain and granted his grandparents' favor after thinking about it for a while. What made him agree to the arranged marriage though was when he saw the pictures of his bride-to-be in the mailbox a few days ago.
"Okay, grandpa and grandma, I accept the marriage"
"Oh, thank you, Kyuhyun! Thank you, thank you"

Their grandparents finally decided to let the two meet in person. The four of them sent the two on a trip to Jeju and rented a whole resort just for them. They had a hard time convincing Sungmin though, but after blackmailing her telling her that her grandparents were going to send away her pet bunny was what made her go.
The airplane ride to Jeju was a little bit awkward to the two, especially to Sungmin. Not only did their grandparents rent a whole resort just for the two of them, but they also rented a private jet.
"Hi. I'm Kyuhyun"
"I know"
"You're Sungmin, right?"
"No, I'm not"
"What?"
"I was being sarcastic! Geez. You're such an idiot"
No matter how mean Sungmin was to him, Kyuhyun still continued falling in love with her. Everything he wanted in a girl was already in the latter, except for her sarcasm.

Their first day in Jeju was, well, as awkward as the airplane ride, especially when they found out that they were going to stay in a tree-top room and the bathroom wasn't secluded from the bedroom. If only you could see the look of horror on the two's faces when they saw the room.
Well, their grandparents really knew how to make two people fall in love, even though they were having a hard time with Sungmin.
"I'm gonna sleep on the bed, you sl-"
"I'll sleep on the couch"
"When I take a bath-"
"I know, I know. I'm not a pervert"
Sungmin was stunned when Kyuhyun didn't let her finish her sentences. She was going to say something again, but the latter already left the room and headed to the beach and left her dumbfounded.
"Why is he so mean to me?"

Their second day was more awkward because Sungmin woke up to a half-naked Kyuhyun who was going around the room and was grabbing the things he needed before he headed to the beach again.
Sungmin couldn't help but stare at awe, especially when Kyuhyun turned around and his abs were smiling at her. When the latter noticed that the former was staring at him, he rushed out of the room immediately.
"Why are you being like this? No, wait, why am I feeling like this?"
A few minutes later, Sungmin found herself getting ready to go to the beach and was only wearing a two-piece. Before she left the room, she looked at herself from head to toe in the full-body mirror and twirled.
"I'm sure he's going to be nice to me once he sees me in this"
When Sungmin was finally on the beach, she saw Kyuhyun talking to one of the resort's employees, a girl to be exact, and she felt something clench inside her.
"Why is he flirting with her? I'm his fiancée! He should only be flirting with me"
That night, when Kyuhyun got back to their room, he saw Sungmin on her bed and was watching TV. He decided not to greet her because he knew that a sarcastic reply was all he was going to get. Before he could even lie down on the couch, Sungmin called him.
"Where have you been?"
"Why do you care?"
"I'm your fiancee! You should be spending time with me, not flirting with the employees here. Our grandparents sent us here to fall in love, not to flirt with other people!"
When Sungmin realized what she just blurted out, she immediately covered her mouth and looked away from Kyuhyun. As for Kyuhyun, well, something inside him was jumping and he could feel a tingly sensation in his stomach when he noticed that she was jealous.
"You're jealous, aren't you?"
Kyuhyun was now smirking and he was making his way to Sungmin who was now hiding under the blanket. When the latter felt the edge of the bed sink, her heartbeat became fast and she was starting to sweat, not because it was hot, but because of the tension.
When Kyuhyun was already on top of her, he slowly removed the blanket from her head and looked into her eyes.
"Don't be jealous, Sungmin. I'm faithful to you"
Kyuhyun's facial expression softened and he was about to kiss her. When he noticed that Sungmin shut her eyes, he laughed and got off of her and ran towards the couch.
"Why you.. Kyuhyun!"
Sungmin threw a pillow towards Kyuhyun but she missed and just groaned before she went to sleep. Meanwhile, the latter was still thinking of other things to do for his surprise for her.
"Tomorrow, baby. I promise I won't let you down"

It was their last day in Jeju and Sungmin was getting ready for their midnight flight back to Seoul. As soon as she closed her suitcase, Kyuhyun got in their room and hugged her from behind. Sungmin was startled, but decided to go on with it. After all, she had already fallen for him, strange as it may seem.
"Let's take a walk on the beach. I want to make it up to you"
"Fine"
"Let me put this blindfold on your eyes first"
"What?!"
"Please!"
Sungmin just went on with whatever plan Kyuhyun had. On the way to the beach, Kyuhyun held her tight and made sure she didn't hit any tree or whatsoever. When they finally arrived on the beach, Kyuhyun removed the blindfold and Sungmin was shocked with what was in front of her.
On the sand, there was a big heart made up of rose petals and inside it were letters and it spelled:
Lee Sungmin,
I love you and only you. Will you please spend forever with me?
Beside the big heart was a table with two chairs and was surrounded by rose petals as well. On the table was a lighted candle, a bottle of wine, two wine glasses, two plates, a bouquet of roses and a little box.
Sungmin didn't know how to react. It was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for her. Tears of joy started flowing from her eyes as she turned around and kissed Kyuhyun right on the lips. At first, the latter was surprised, but after a second or two, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer.
Kyuhyun broke the kiss which made Sungmin pout and he went towards the table to grab the little box. He walked back to where Sungmin was and knelt in front of her. Before he could even ask, Sungmin already answered him and fell on top of him because she couldn't contain her happiness anymore.
"Yes, Kyuhyun! Yes"
They shared another kiss and with their position, the employees smiled at them and decided to leave them alone. As soon as they broke the kiss, Kyuhyun spoke again.
"I love you, Lee Sungmin. And this is what yesterday was all about"
"You were busy preparing these for me?"
"Yes, of course, with the help of the employees"
"Oh, so that's why.."
"That's why I was talking to them. I love you and I will love you and only you forever"
"I love you too and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you"
They kissed again and right at that moment, they knew that it was really love, love that will never be regretted.
While they were still kissing, they didn't notice that their grandparents arrived and was about to surprise them but stopped when they saw their moment. Their plan worked and they couldn't help but be very happy about it. Even though the two aren't married yet, they're already sure that they're going to have a great grandchild soon.
