Jung Yunho and Kim Jaejoong and Cho Minho and Lee Taemin were the best of friends until the day came that God finally took them back, altogether. The four went on a roadtrip, but unfortunately, they met an accident and was rushed to the hospital as soon as the police found them. Before they left though, they asked their children, Jung Sooyeon (Yunho and Jaejoong's) and Kim Jonghyun (Youngwoon and Jungsoo's) to have their grandchildren marry.

Lee Donghae and Sooyeon's daughter, Lee Sungmin, was only 15 when her parents told her about her grandparents' favor. At first, she went crazy over the news, but after seeing a photo of her husband-to-be, she agreed, thinking that things might work out between them, since the guy looks nice, or that's what she thought.

Cho Jino and Choi Jinri's son, Cho Kyuhyun, was only 16 when he was told of what happened to his grandparents and what their last will was. Even though he saw a beautiful girl in the photo, he couldn't accept it because he was already committed to someone else.

When the two were set up on a date for them to meet, Kyuhyun never showed up and Sungmin went home with a broken heart. Even though their grandparents were almost like siblings, the two never met because they were busy with their own lives; Kyuhyun, with his girlfriend, Victoria, and Sungmin, with her studies.

As soon as Kyuhyun got home from his girlfriend's house, he was scolded by his parents for not showing up on his date with Sungmin. "I didn't even agree on marrying her but you're already acting like we're a couple, but we're not and we'll never be!" Kyuhyun could only yell back and run upstairs to his room.

"Maybe I won't get my happy ending, umma.." Sungmin cried on her mother shoulders and the latter could only feel pity for her daughter. Sooyeon thought that her daughter's grandparents asked for too much, but no matter how she wanted to get mad at them, she couldn't, because she wasn't raised to curse old people, especially those who were already at peace.

"Your grandparents gave you everything you needed, the best thing you can do is be thankful and grant their wish!" Jino yelled at his son after slapping him for yelling at his mother last night.

"But what about Victoria?! I love her and I want you to respect that" Kyuhyun answered back once again with tears already flowing from his eyes.

"Enough! You're gonna get married and that's final" Jinri yelled at her son and stomped upstairs to their bedroom and slammed the door shut.

"I hope you're happy now, Minho harabeoji and Taemin halmeoni.." Kyuhyun could only surrender and finally agree.

"Sungmin, the wedding will push through. Kyuhyun already agreed to the marriage" Donghae told her with excitement evident in his voice. Even though his daughter is already going to get married, he feels happy because he thinks that he can trust Kyuhyun, but Sooyeon thought otherwise. Donghae didn't know that Kyuhyun didn't show up during his date with Sungmin.

The wedding finally happened, after 2 months of preparation,. When Sungmin finally arrived at the altar, she could see that Kyuhyun was glaring at her, but she smiled at him nonetheless. They sealed their wedding vows with what seemed like a kiss, but was only a peck on the side of Sungmin's lips. "You're no Victoria and you will never be.." Kyuhyun thought to himself.

During their honeymoon, no, that couldn't be considered as a honeymoon, because one of them didn't want to sleep on the same bed as their spouse. Sungmin slept on the bed all alone and just allowed her tears to fall. "I just knew this would happen.."

As for Kyuhyun, he slept on the couch, because he was still Victoria's after all. He told his parents that they broke up, even though it was only a lie and so that his parents would finally stop lecturing him on everything. "Promise us that you won't hurt Sungmin" Jino and Jinri told him before his wedding day. He nodded, but that didn't mean that he would keep his promise.

As soon as they got back from their not-honeymoon, they moved to one of the condominiums in the heart of Seoul. However, Sungmin was surprised to see that their furniture was already in place. "Oh, appa and umma must have gone here.." She thought to herself.

"Kyuuuuu! You're back. Hihihi" Sungmin was surprised to see someone stand up from the couch and run towards her husband. When she saw the long, brown hair of the person, she already knew who it was and she could only stare at them as they made out in front of her.

"Hey babe! I missed you so much. Let me make it up to you" Kyuhyun winked at Victoria as he carried her bridal style. "Yah! You sleep on the couch. We're gonna take the bedroom. Got that?" Kyuhyun told Sungmin and ignored the fact that the latter was already crying. "Oh, don't even tell our parents or I'm gonna make you suffer" Kyuhyun added before he and Victoria made their way to the bedroom.

Sungmin could hear moans and giggles echoing inside the condominium unit, but she could only let her tears fall. When she couldn't take the noise anymore, she decided to go to the park for some time alone. Kyuhyun wouldn't even give a damn if she gets raped, so might as well go on.

"Lee Sungmin?" Sungmin was making her to the park when someone called her. She turned around and was surprised to see a familiar face.

"Ye-Yesung?" Sungmin said as she wiped her tears and tried to smile at him. "What are you doing here?" She asked as she walked closer to him but stopped as soon as she saw that he was holding something. "Oh, hello, Ddangkoma" Sungmin said to the turtle.

"I wanted to go for a walk. How about you? Shouldn't you be with Kyuhyun right now? Oh, and congratulations to you two!" Yesung exclaimed as he hugged Sungmin, but he made sure that his pet turtle wouldn't get crushed, even though it's shell was as hard as a rock.

Sungmin could only smile at him and hugged him back, but she tried to control herself from crying. She and Yesung walked together around the park and even sat on one of the benches to talk. Her happy side came out as she and Yesung started joking about school, their teachers, their classmates, etc.

When they were both sleepy, Yesung decided to bring Sungmin home. As soon as she entered the condominium unit, it was already quiet and so she decided to go to sleep. Maybe if she continued seeing Yesung, so the pain she was feeling would somehow lessen, even just for a while.

"Where were you last night?" Kyuhyun asked the next day when Sungmin came out of the bathroom after taking a bath. The latter ignored him and made her way to the front door. "Yah! I'm asking you something" Kyuhyun yelled again but Sungmin had already left the place.

For the next few weeks, it was always like that. Sungmin had been seeing Yesung more often. Victoria went to China to visit her family and Kyuhyun could only wonder where Sungmin had been going.

When the latter would come home, she would just ignore him again. Whenever Kyuhyun would start to hurt her because she wouldn't answer, Sungmin would just let him be. Even though there are times that Kyuhyun would rape her, she would just let her tears fall and leave to go to the bedroom as soon as Kyuhyun was finished with her.

The more Sungmin distanced herself from him, the more Kyuhyun longed for her. It was complicated, because no matter how hard he tried to answer why he had fallen in love with her, he just couldn't. Maybe love really is something even Google nor Science can't explain. Maybe it's because love just happens, especially if two people are really meant to be together.

"So, what happened?" Yesung asked Sungmin when the latter came out of a public comfort room. Sungmin tried to force a smile, but she ended up crying, hard. "We need to tell Kyuhyun" Yesung added but was given a negative response. Yesung was already aware of everything that was happening in Kyuhyun and Sungmin's home. The latter told him so the day after she got raped by her husband.

When Sungmin got home that night, she made her way towards their bedroom and started packing her clothes. Kyuhyun was snoring, out loud, so she was pretty sure that she can leave without being noticed by him. As soon as she finished packing, "Goodbye, Kyuhyun", Sungmin said and left the place, tears falling from her eyes.

When Kyuhyun woke up the next day, he was surprised to see that one of the cabinets inside the room was opened. "Aish, she forgot to close it again!" Kyuhyun groaned. When Kyuhyun checked to see if Sungmin's part of the cabinet was still organized, he was surprised to see it empty. "Yah! You should be thankful I placed it inside the cabinet!" Kyuhyun went outside to see that the place was empty.

"Sungmin? Sungmin ah?" Kyuhyun looked around their condominium unit but saw no sign of who he was looking for. He drove around Seoul to look for her. Good thing his father gave him a car as a wedding gift.

After a few hours of searching, he saw no sign of her anywhere. Kyuhyun could only cry and hit the steering wheel continuously as if it was something to be blamed.

Sungmin had been very good to him even before they got married, but Kyuhyun would just ignore her small hellos and I love yous. Sungmin tried her best to make Kyuhyun fall in love with her, but he would just push her away. Whenever Sungmin would cook something for him and bring it to him at his parents' house, he would either throw it away, spit on it or even step on it.

Now, it's as if Kyuhyun was being slapped hard by his and Sungmin's grandparents for what was happening. Now, it's as if realization was hitting him on the head endlessly and all he could do was cry and yell inside the car.

Kyuhyun realized right then and there that Sungmin was the one destined for him. She might not be like Victoria, but she was so much better. His relationship with Victoria was full of lust that it ran out of space for love, something Kyuhyun always thought they had, but he was wrong.

It was after 2 years that Kyuhyun saw Sungmin again, sitting on one of the benches in the park and was playing with a little boy. Oh, the joy he felt that he ran towards her, but he stopped as soon as he heard her say something that shocked him and broke him once again. "Hyukkie ah, appa's here" Sungmin said as Yesung approached her and took the little boy named Hyukkie from her.

Kyuhyun could only cry as he saw how happy Sungmin was with the guy. While he was hurting her, she had already found comfort in someone else, someone who could give her everything he couldn't; love and a happy family.

Kyuhyun was surprised when he felt someone tap his shoulder. He turned around and was surprised to see who it was. "Thank you, Kyuhyun, for making her realize that she deserves someone like him, someone better than you" Sooyeon said before walking away to join the happy couple, the little boy and her husband, Donghae.

Sooyeon knew, she knew very well, and so did Donghae, Jino and Jinri. They knew very well of everything.
