For the next few weeks since they started meeting each other, Yesung noticed that Sungmin hadn't been feeling well lately and would always look for a comfort room wherever they were. He also noticed that she had been eating a lot, especially spicy food.
"Yah! Slow down. You're gonna choke yourself" Yesung would tell her but Sungmin would just ignore him and continued eating. There were times that the latter would take his food, whenever he was busy staring at her.
The truth finally came out when Yesung asked Sungmin to take a pregnancy test, seeing as her actions were similar to a pregnant woman's. At first, the latter declined, but when Yesung told her how he noticed the big change in her, she finally agreed.
"So, what happened?" Yesung asked Sungmin when the latter came out of a public comfort room. Sungmin tried to force a smile, but she ended up crying, hard. "We need to tell Kyuhyun" Yesung added but was given a negative response. Yesung was already aware of everything that was happening in Kyuhyun and Sungmin's home. The latter told him so the day after she got raped by her husband.

"Sungmin!" Sooyeon yelled as she saw her daughter pass by the restaurant she, Donghae, Jino and Jinri were in. They were surprised to see that she was with someone else, but what surprised them more was the bump on her belly.
Sungmin ran towards her parents as soon as she heard her mother call her and ignored the stares of the those she passed through in the mall and in the restaurant itself. While they were still hugging each other, Sungmin cried and told her everything that Kyuhyun had done to her and about her expecting their first baby.
"What?!" Donghae and Jino said in unison as soon as they heard Sungmin's story. Sooyeon and Jinri calmed and hushed their husbands. Donghae was about to get up from his seat and look for Kyuhyun, but Sungmin stopped him.
"Appa, just let him be. He's already happy with someone else. I can manage by myself" Sungmin said, tears still falling from her eyes. Donghae just nodded and hugged his daughter again.
Jino and Jinri felt anger and disappointment flow through their body. They knew their son promised them that he wouldn't hurt Sungmin and that he and his girlfriend were already over, but he broke his promise and lied to them. "We're really sorry, Minnie. No matter what happens, we'll be by your side" Jinri said as she stood up and hugged Sungmin.
"Thank you, auntie" Sungmin said as she hugged Jinri back. When the former noticed that Yesung felt left out, she pulled away from the hug and stood beside Yesung. "Umma, appa, auntie and uncle, this is Yesung, a friend of mine" Sungmin said and Yesung bowed to them.
"No, he isn't just a friend anymore" Jino said which made everyone look at him. "He's going to replace Kyuhyun. He's going to be my grandchild's father" He added and smiled at everyone who were shocked, especially Yesung. "If it's okay with him, of course" Jino added again.
After thinking about it for a while, Yesung finally agreed and Sungmin was happy about his decision. Now, her baby is going to have a father, even though he's not the biological one. Donghae, Sooyeon and Jinri agreed as well, thinking that it was best to have Yesung stand as their grandchild's father instead of no one, more importantly, instead of Kyuhyun.

As the baby bump grew bigger, Yesung continued doing everything for her and never left her side. No matter how demanding Sungmin became, he stayed, just like how an expecting father was supposed to do.
When Sungmin finally gave birth to a healthy baby boy she named, Hyukjae, she felt that her life was finally complete, even though Kyuhyun wasn't by her side anymore. She still loved Kyuhyun, but she had to move on somehow.

Kyuhyun and Victoria tried to work things out again as soon as the latter came back, but everything failed, which resulted to them breaking up. Victoria just couldn't handle Kyuhyun anymore. He was too distracted with thoughts about Sungmin.
Even when they would make love, it was Sungmin's name Kyuhyun would moan and Sungmin he would think about. Victoria couldn't take the pain anymore and she traveled back to China to forget about Kyuhyun.
As for Kyuhyun, he felt all alone now, because even his parents avoided him and threw him out of the house whenever he would visit them.

Oh, the joy he felt that he ran towards her, but he stopped as soon as he heard her say something that shocked him and broke him once again. "Hyukkie ah, appa's here" Sungmin said as Yesung approached her and took the little boy named Hyukkie from her.
Kyuhyun could only cry as he saw how happy Sungmin was with the guy. While he was hurting her, she had already found comfort in someone else, someone who could give her everything he couldn't; love and a happy family.
Kyuhyun was surprised when he felt someone tap his shoulder. He turned around and was surprised to see who it was. "Thank you, Kyuhyun, for making her realize that she deserves someone like him, someone better than you" Sooyeon said before walking away to join the happy couple, the little boy and her husband, Donghae.

Kyuhyun went to the same park the next day and saw Sungmin there once again with the little boy. He looked around and saw that she and her son were all alone. While they were playing a ball game, the ball suddenly rolled towards Kyuhyun and he almost froze to death as soon as the ball hit his shoe.
He saw the little boy named Hyukkie ran after the ball and he figured that maybe this was his chance. Kyuhyun picked up the ball and smiled at the little boy who was asking for it back. "Ball, pwease" Hyukkie said and Kyuhyun swore that he wanted to pinch his little cheeks.
When Sungmin noticed that her son, Hyukjae, still hadn't come back, she walked towards the way he went and she stopped with a shocked expression as soon as she saw the person whom her heart had been longing for the past 2 years. "Kyu.. Kyuhyun?" Sungmin said as she tried to control herself from crying.
"Hi Minnie" Kyuhyun smiled at her and said as he handed the ball back to Hyukjae. "It's been a long time" He added as he moved towards Sungmin who was now moving backwards. Sungmin thought that she could get away from him, but she was wrong when she felt her back hit a tree.
Kyuhyun moved his face closer to hers but stopped when he felt that he was already too close. He knew that Hyukjae was still there and was staring at them. "Why did you leave me just like that? It felt as if I lost everything when you left" Kyuhyun broke down on the spot and Sungmin could only look at him with love, pity and anger mixing in her body.
Sungmin put her pride up and answered him back with an angry tone. "You think that was easy for me?! You think seeing you and Victoria together inside our house didn't hurt me?! You think me hearing you and Victoria moaning didn't break my heart into pieces?! You think your violent actions didn't push me to the limit?!" Sungmin yelled as she slapped Kyuhyun, hard.
"I did everything just for you, Kyuhyun, but you still went back to Victoria! You didn't care about me and you never loved me, so what do you want from me?!" Sungmin finally gave up and let her tears fall.
"I love you, Sungmin. It was already too late when I realized it and I'm sorry. I'm really sorry, Sungmin, for everything" Kyuhyun said as he continued crying.
"I don't need your sorry, Kyuhyun. I don't need you anymore. I'm perfectly fine without you" Sungmin said and she could feel her heart clench. She was still in love with Kyuhyun, but she doesn't want to get hurt anymore.
"I need you back! I need you and I miss you" Kyuhyun said as he hugged Sungmin very tight, even though the latter was pushing him away.
"Let me go! We don't need you anymore, Kyuhyun. Yesung already took your place as Hyukkie's father" Sungmin covered her mouth when she realized what she just said.
"What? I'm.. I'm his father?" Kyuhyun pulled away and looked at Sungmin then at Hyukjae who was already playing with another little boy when they were busy yelling at each other. "Why didn't you tell me? Why, Sungmin, why?!" Kyuhyun yelled and cried again.
"I didn't want him to become a burden to you" Sungmin could only whisper as she felt her body move on their own when she hugged Kyuhyun back.
"I'm sorry for everything, Min. Please give me another chance. I'm begging you" Kyuhyun said as he kneeled down in front of Sungmin and held both of her hands. "Please!" Kyuhyun said and Sungmin could see that he was sincere and was true to his words.
"Say yes, Sungmin" The two looked around for the voice and saw that it was Sooyeon who had Hyukjae in her arms. They noticed that Sooyeon wasn't alone. Donghae, Jino, Jinri and even Yesung, was standing beside her.
"Umma, pwease shay yesh to him" Hyukjae said as he smiled at Sungmin. The latter was shocked with what her son said, but was assured by his father that Hyukjae already knows about Kyuhyun, even though they had a hard time explaining to the little boy.
Sungmin looked back at Kyuhyun and she kneeled down to level him as she wiped his tears and kissed the lips she had been longing for a long time. The kiss was sweet and long, but there were no tongues involve. "Yes, Kyu.. Yes" Sungmin said as she smiled at him and kissed him again.

Soon, the couple got married again and moved to a bigger house, which was just a few blocks away from their parents' house, so that the grandparents could always visit their grandchild.
Yesung finally found his own true love and they would visit Kyuhyun and Sungmin whenever time allowed them to.
Kyuhyun promised Sungmin that he would do everything to make it up to her, which resulted to him being Sungmin's and Hyukjae's slave. Instead of complaining, Kyuhyun loved it because he was able to spend more time with his wife and son, just like how a father was supposed to do.

When the whole family got together on Christmas Eve, everyone was enjoying their dinner when Hyukjae suddenly yelled, "I'm going to be a big brother soon!" and caused everyone to look at Kyuhyun and Sungmin who pretended that they didn't hear anything.
"That's my boy" Jino said and caused the whole family to laugh, which made Kyuhyun and Sungmin both blush and tighten their grips on their intertwined hands below the dining table. Kyuhyun winked at Sungmin and the latter giggled at him.
