Summary: He was oblivious to the fact that he was falling in love with her, a possible suspect in the murder of his girlfriend, his deceased girlfriend to be exact.

"Forever, that's what you promised me, but why did you have to leave me like this?" He said to the gravestone that was in front of him, tears freely flowing from his eyes.
It has been 3 months since she left him, 3 months since she was murdered, but no one still knew who did it and why.
She was just taking a nap in her room when it happened. No one heard her scream or cry for help, even though her family members and their maids were all present in the house.
They only found out about the gruesome murder when her mother called her for dinner. She wasn't answering to her knocks on the door, so her mother decided to open it.
She screamed in horror and fainted after seeing her eldest daughter lying in a pool of blood on her bed, body twisted, full of slashes and a knife plunged through her stomach.
Her father, twin sister, brother and some maids ran to where they heard her mother's scream and different facial expressions were placed on their faces as soon as they saw the state she was in. Her father gaped and cried, while her siblings were crying and hugging each other and the maids were shocked, but tears started to fall from their eyes too.
The police rushed to their house as soon as her father called and her siblings were still weeping over what happened along with their mother who woke up a few minutes after the police arrived.
"The possibility that the murderer was an outsider is smaller than the possibility that someone from this house could be the criminal. This is the only report we can give you right now, Mr. Lee. I'm sorry for what happened to your daughter. We will continue the investigation until justice is served" The police said and left with his members.
Mr. Lee could only pray that the latter part that the police said was not true. He believed that no one in the household would do this to her daughter, no one, not even the maids who have been with them ever since he and his wife got married.
Her twin sister called him, the one she loved the most and he went there as fast as he could and was screaming in emotional pain, tears falling from his eyes, as soon as he saw her dead body, the body of the girl he wanted to spend forever with. He could only look at her from the door because her room was under investigation.
It has been 3 months, but the investigation was still not over. She was already put to rest, but her room remained untouched and open. The knife that was stabbed through her stomach was still there and the blood that was in her bed sheet, on the wall and the floor of her room was still present, though it already dried out.
"I'm going to kill whoever did this to you. They deserve to suffer after what he or she did to you. I'm gonna do more than what that murderer did to you. I promise you, baby. I promise you, Lee Sunkyu" Kyuhyun said as he walked away and drove home.

There was never a day wherein Kyuhyun didn't go to the Lees house to check on his deceased girlfriend's room and talked to Mr. Lee about the status of the investigation.
Sunkyu's family still hadn't moved on and almost looked like zombies because of their emotionless faces. The house was so soundless that it felt like no one lived there.
"You're here again" Sungmin, Sunkyu's twin sister, said as she went out of her room and saw Kyuhyun across to her twin sister's bedroom door. "Don't you have classes?" She asked as she moved closer to him.
"I'm not being a bother, am I?" Kyuhyun retorted, but still kept his eyes on Sunkyu's bed. "I keep coming back here because I want to know how the investigation's going. Coming back here makes me feel happy, like Sunkyu's still here. I don't care about school anymore" He added.
"Sunkyu would be happier if you continued going to school. You're not the only one suffering here, Kyuhyun" Sungmin replied as she looked hopelessly at him.
Even before Kyuhyun and Sunkyu dated, Sungmin already had feelings for the former. She planned on confessing to him on the night of their senior prom, but backed out the last minute when she saw him kissing her twin sister below the bleachers of their football field.
The night after that, Sunkyu informed her that she was in fact dating Kyuhyun. Sungmin pretended to be happy and even hugged her twin sister as a sign of congratulation, but it could be seen in her eyes that she was hurt, angry and jealous.
"I was planning on proposing to her next month. Even though we're only college sophomores, I want those guys at school to know that she's already taken. 2 years in our relationship and I already know that I want to spend the rest of my life with her, but now everything's ruined because of whoever did this to her" Kyuhyun said through gritted teeth and was ready to punch someone.
Sungmin cringed at Kyuhyun's words, but controlled her emotions and just sighed. "Maybe you were meant for someone else..." She said before she made her way downstairs. "Maybe you were meant for me..."
She knew it was selfish of her to be taking advantage of what happened to her sister, but as much as she loved her, her feelings for Kyuhyun were growing stronger every second. Sungmin was willing to do everything just to get to Kyuhyun.
