The news of Sunkyu's death brought sadness to her university and up to the present, everyone is still mourning over it. She was known as the cheerful, outgoing, friendlier, smarter and more beautiful one among the twins.
Sungmin never really envied her twin sister's reputation. She was contented with the personality and beauty she was blessed with, even though most students noticed Sunkyu more. The only thing she wanted to take from the older one was her first and maybe last love, Kyuhyun.
The only person who knew about her feelings for Kyuhyun was her best friend, Eunhyuk. The latter felt bad for Sungmin because she didn't know what to say to her the night that she came crying to her after finding out that Kyuhyun and Sunkyu were officially a couple.
"Just let it go, Min. Give one of your suitors a chance. Siwon perhaps?" Eunhyuk told her when they saw the couple one time, but the only reply she got was a sigh and tears flowing from Sungmin's eyes.
Whenever Sungmin would pass by her schoolmates, she would always hear them condoling her and she would show a small smile as a sign of thank you.Even though she was jealous of her twin sister's relationship with Kyuhyun, she still loved her very much.

Meanwhile, at the Lees, Kyuhyun joined Taemin, Sunkyu and Sungmin's younger brother who is currently a high school junior, for lunch. They were eating in silence until the younger one broke the gloomy atmosphere and asked, "Kyuhyun hyung, how are you?"
Kyuhyun looked up from his food and smiled at the lad before him. "I'm fine, Taemin. I'm fine" He replied and started eating again.
"No, you're not" Taemin retorted and the older one gave him a questioning look. He ate a spoonful of rice before adding, "I know how much you love Sunkyu unnie, but nothing's gonna bring her back. We're all having a hard time right now, but at some point, we're all gonna have to accept the fact that she's gone forever and that we're gonna have to go on with our lives. You, at some point, will fall for someone else."
All the while that the younger one was speaking, Kyuhyun just stared at him in awe as the words plunged through him and before he could even feel it, tears were already streaming down his cheeks. The truth that he kept pushing away just slapped him in the face as it came out of Taemin's mouth. Before he could even reply, the younger one spoke again.
"I know it's hard, hyung. I, myself, want to make the one who murdered my sister suffer as well, but right now, all I can do is pray for her while trying to move on with my life. Once the case is solved, we can torture the bastard who did this to her, but for now, move on with your life, hyung. I know Sunkyu unnie will be happy if you're happy" Taemin said and finished his meal before leaving a dumbfounded Kyuhyun.

A month after his conversation with Taemin, Kyuhyun stopped dropping by their house everyday and would only go there if he couldn't resist it anymore or if he didn't have classes. Yes, Kyuhyun started attending his classes again, even if his schoolmates kept giving him looks of pity and sadness, he just ignored them.
The words that Taemin said was playing like a recorded tape in his brain. He knew he had to let go of Sunkyu at some point, but even if he falls in love again, he will still love her more than his current girlfriend.
Kyuhyun was staring into space until someone sat beside him and broke his thoughts. "Good to see you back, Mr. Cho" Sungmin said as she placed her arm around his shoulders. "So, what made you decide to attend classes again?"
He held her hand that was placed around his shoulder, which made Sungmin blush, and said, "Well, I thought about what you and Taemin said. Busying myself might help me in moving on, but Sunkyu will always be in my heart" Kyuhyun replied as he smiled at the girl that was beside him.
"I wonder what Taemin said that lit that light bulb in your heard" Sungmin laughed and stopped after a few minutes to look at him with her large doe eyes as an idea popped up in her head. "You want to busy yourself, right? Let's go to an amusement park after classes! My treat."
"I'll go, but only if I'm the one who's gonna treat you" Kyuhyun retorted which made Sungmin pout. "Sunkyu would probably think I'm a jerk if I don't treat her sister right."
Sungmin's pout turned into a frown as he heard him mention her twin sister's name, but she knew that she shouldn't rush things, because she's having a hard time moving on as well. "You're right, but I'm gonna be the one who's gonna buy food" Sungmin said and giggled.

The afternoon they spent together in the amusement park made Kyuhyun wonder why he never noticed how different Sungmin's personality was from Sunkyu. They were fraternal twins and he was ready to marry the older one of the two, but how come he felt like he was going to make the wrong choice if Sunkyu was still alive and their marriage happened?
Kyuhyun's never felt this kind of happiness before with Sunkyu, only with Sungmin. He felt as if he could be himself around her, like he doesn't have to impress her just to get her attention.
With Sunkyu, he was a different Kyuhyun. He was charismatic and intelligent, but with Sungmin, he was dorky and happy-go-lucky, the real him to be exact.
Now he asks himself, did he ever make the wrong choice of choosing Sunkyu over Sungmin? He liked the twins, but because he was closer to Sunkyu and saw the older one as the one with the beauty and brains, it never really came to him that Sungmin was his ideal girl; simple but beautiful.
The two had different group of friends; Sunkyu would often hang out with the elite ones while Sungmin would often be seen with average people and Kyuhyun belonged to the group of the older twin which is why he never really got to know the younger twin.
Even when he goes to their house for a movie marathon with his girlfriend, he doesn't really bother to talk to Sungmin who was just a couch away from him, because he was too occupied cuddling with Sunkyu.
"Are you okay?" Sungmin distracts him from his thoughts as she ate her ice cream. "You've been staring at me for the last 10 minutes" She said as she looked away to hide her blush.
"Yeah, I'm good. Thank you for today, Sungmin" Kyuhyun smiled at her as he ate his popcorn. "Uhmm, you have something in your eyes" He said as he moved closer to remove the dirt that was below her eyes.
Kyuhyun removed the dirt from Sungmin's eyes, but a passerby accidentally pushed him which made his lips meet hers. They looked at each other in shock and looked away as soon as they felt their cheeks becoming red and their hearts beating faster. "Errr... Sorry" The former said and the latter just nodded. "I'll bring you home now."
The drive to the Lees house was awkward as both of them were still thinking of the kiss. Sungmin was happy but at the same time worried that Sunkyu might haunt her for what she has been doing to and with Kyuhyun. Even with such thoughts, she kept telling herself that she deserves to be happy.
Kyuhyun, on the other hand, felt guilty because he has been comparing Sunkyu and Sungmin and it's as if now he's doubting his relationship with older of the two. The kiss just made things worse for him.
Is it possible to fall for someone and just forget about the painful past so fast?
