Kyuhyun woke up in the swing set in front of the hotel's swimming pool. He slept there because he heard the noises in their room and thought to himself, "Appa's here?" He hasn't been enjoying the trip because; 1. He thought he was going to work. 2. He realized that this was his mom's plan of taking him away from Sungmin. and 3. It's Christmas day tomorrow and he still hasn't asked Ryeowook if he could go home tonight so he could surprise Sungmin on their anniversary, which was also on the 25th. He stayed in his spot because he doesn't want to go back to their hotel room yet and see his parents naked.
Ryeowook woke up in Yesung's arms. "I just had the most amazing night last night" she thought and smiled to herself. After a few minutes of reminiscing what she and Yesung did last night, she suddenly remembered something which made her panic. She remembered Sungmin. She slowly pulled away from Yesung's embrace, kissed him on the forehead, picked up her clothes and cellphone and went to the bathroom. After fixing herself, she called Donghae. "Lee Donghae, did you do what I asked you?"
Donghae, on the other hand, fell asleep with his wife and daughter in the living room's sofa-bed. He woke up to his cellphone's non-stop vibrating. He got up, grabbed it and went into the kitchen to answer who was calling. When he saw the caller ID, all he could feel was anger. Sungmin explained to them last night that Ryeowook was her boyfriend's mother, but the three of them still didn't know why would Ryeowook do such a thing. Still it was his boss and he still needs to respect her if he doesn't want to lose his job as one of their condominium's janitor. "Hello, Mrs. Kim?" Ryeowook then asked, "Lee Donghae, did you do what I asked you?" Donghae was hesitating on answering but he needed to, "I'm sorry, madam. I cannot kill my own daughter." Ryeowook was shocked at Donghae's statement, "Your d-dau-daughter? But how?!" All Donghae could say was, "It's a long story, madam." then the line died.
When Yesung woke up, he felt happy because of the lovemaking he just shared with Ryeowook last night. But when he felt that his wife wasn't in the bed anymore, he immediately got up and looked around the place, searching for his wife's figure. When Ryeowook came out of the bathroom, Yesung felt relieve but noticed the confusion on her face. "Wookie ah, what's wrong?" "Sweetie, I need to tell you some things." "What is it?" After a few minutes of hesitation, Ryeowook sat down on the bed beside Yesung and finally spoke up. "I asked someone to take away Sungmin's life. I ran out of ideas on how to get rid of her. You were so busy with your turtles that Kyuhyun was the only one I could lean on. But then Sungmin came and took him away. I became so angry, so envious of her, that I ended up with that plan. I even took their apartment's spare key just to let Donghae in. I'm so sorry, Yesung!" then Ryeowook cried. Yesung finally understood everything but felt so bad for his wife that he told her, "I know about that, sweetie, but I think you should explain everything to him." he said while pointing at Kyuhyun who had just opened the door but heard everything.
Kyuhyun was so shocked at everything that came out of Ryeowook's mouth. He felt so angry that he ended up shouting at his mom. "You what?! What did you do to her?! How could you do this to me?!" Ryeowook didn't know what to do, so she thought of saying what she thought was right, "SHE'S ALIVE, KYUHYUN! I DIDN'T KNOW DONGHAE WAS HER FATHER! I'M SO SORRY, SON!" While Ryeowook was busy explaining to her son, Kyuhyun was already packing his things and headed out for the door, but Ryeowook held his hand. "I'm so sorry for everything, Kyuhyun." but anger took over his body and pushed his mom away and said, "Goodbye, mom! Don't ever talk to me again!" with that, Kyuhyun slammed the door and left. Yesung then ran to his wife's side and comforted her. Ryeowook then asked, "How did you know about my plan?" "I saw Sungmin yesterday, before I flew here. She had bruises on her arms and legs. I knew you did something again, but I didn't know that someone else was in her apartment." "I'm so sorry, Yesung ah. Will Kyuhyun still forgive me? Especially Sungmin? I owe her a lot of explanations and apologies." "Just let him calm down for a while. We'll just fly back tomorrow, okay?" and Ryeowook just nodded.
Meanwhile, in South Korea. "Mom and dad, I think we should talk to my adopted parents, don't you think?" Sungmin asked her parents. She was really happy that she was finally with her real parents, enjoying breakfast. "Hmm, I agree. We should let them know about our plans and about Sungmin." Eunhyuk suggested. "What plans?" Sungmin asked. "Well, we need to work for them to pay for everything they spent on you." Donghae explained. "No need. I'll just talk to them about it." Sungmin happily said. After breakfast, they all went to Sungmin's adopted parents' residence. When they rang the doorbell, an old lady opened the gate for them. "Oh, Sungmin ah! You're here." the old lady said. "Yes, nanny. And by the way, I'd like you to meet my real parents, Lee Donghae and Lee Hyukjae" Sungmin declared. "Oh, hello. Are you here to take her?" the old lady felt sad. She took care of Sungmin ever since she was young. "Yes, we are. But you do know that she lives with Kyuhyun now, so you can still visit her." Eunhyuk said. The old lady let her sadness go away. She then took them inside, sat them in the living room while she called Jinki or Onew and Taemin.
After a few minutes, when the couple found out that Sungmin was there, the two immediately went downstairs and hugged her. "Sungmin ah! You should've called so we could've prepared lunch for you.. and your guests." Taemin then eyed the couple behind Sungmin. Onew broke the silence and asked Donghae and Eunhyuk, "How did you meet?". "Uhm, it's a long story." Eunhyuk said. Taemin then kept the conversation going by saying, "Oh.. So.. You're here to take her now?" Donghae then responded, "Yes.. But we still don't have the money, so we'll just wor-" Onew stopped him and said, "We only said that because we didn't want Sungmin to be taken away.." Taemin then hugged her husband and both started crying. Sungmin felt bad for the couple and joined in the hug and said, "I will always be your little girl. I'll still visit you." and the three of them cried some more. After a few moments, Sungmin broke the hug and said, "We have to go now. We still have some decorating to do at home. I'll come back for my things some other tim-" Taemin cut her and said, "No, just leave it here. At least you'll still have your own room if you want to stay here for a night or two. Give our regards to Kyuhyun, okay?" After a few more hugging, Donghae and Eunhyuk thanked Onew and Taemin and said their greetings and goodbyes.
Kyuhyun just got back from Singapore that night. After leaving the hotel, he immediately booked a flight back. He was really worried about what happened to Sungmin. He still didn't know if the latter was alright or something bad happened. Since he had a spare key, he opened the door and was surprised to see their apartment full of Christmas decorations. He then called out, "Sungmin ah! Where are you?" Sungmin then quietly backhugged Kyuhyun. The latter almost had a heart attack from what happened. Kyuhyun then turned around and hugged her. "Baby, are you okay?" he said while checking her body. When he saw the bruises on her arms and legs, "I'm so sorry for what mom did. I love yo-" Sungmin cut him off by kissing him passionately. Kyuhyun broke the kiss and said, "Let me explain everything to you first before we do something." Sungmin glared at Kyuhyun but let go of him and they sat down in the living room. "I'm sorry mom did this to you. Mom took the spare key of our apartment and that's how someone got in. I'm so sorry, baby. Mom was just so jealous of you. Since dad was always busy with his turtles, mom thought she could lean on me, but when we got together, she became so envious of you that she ended up with this. I'm so sorry, baby." Kyuhyun can't help but cry and hug Sungmin. Everything was finally clear to her, she kissed him to calm him down and wiped away his tears. "Baby, I'm actually happy your mom did that. I got to meet my real parents." Sungmin added. "Baby, to be honest, I knew you were adopted. Your parents told me once when we were going out on a date. They said they didn't want you to know because you were so attached to the-" Sungmin cut him again by kissing him and added "Everything's clear now, baby. Now will you please stop talking? You still owe me something." With that, they started kissing passionately again. Kyuhyun carried Sungmin like a baby, still not breaking the kiss and brought her inside their room.
