Summary: He was oblivious to the fact that he was falling in love with her, a possible suspect in the murder of his girlfriend, his deceased girlfriend to be exact.

Kyuhyun persuaded Sungmin by driving her to and from school, giving her flowers, treating her to lunch or dinner, bringing her to amusement parks or movie theaters or by simply spending time with her.
Whenever they were alone, he would whisper "I love you" a lot of times to her and she would end up giggling and blushing. As much as Sungmin wanted to respond, they weren't officially dating yet, so she had to play "hard-to-get", even though Kyuhyun was already aware of her feelings for him.
They couldn't spend time together at Sungmin's house though, because it might raise questions from her parents and her younger brother.
The same goes for Kyuhyun's parents' house. Mr. and Mrs. Cho were well aware of his relationship with Sunkyu, but they didn't know about her background. Even with that reason, he still didn't want to bring Sungmin there, thinking that they might find out the truth and who knows what might happen.
It's not that they didn't care who Kyuhyun dated. They were just really busy with work to even learn about the girl's biography.
"Where do you want to go today?" Kyuhyun asked as soon as he got in his car, fastened his seat belt and started the engine.
"I can't fasten my seat belt. It's stuck" Sungmin complained as she was trying to pull her seat belt towards the lock.
Kyuhyun smiled at her adorableness and reached out to her side to help her pull it. While doing that, he thought of something and smirked at the idea.
Sungmin was oblivious to whatever it was Kyuhyun thought of, but as soon as he successfully pulled the seat belt towards the lock and placed it in, he pecked her cheek and moved back to his position like nothing happened.
Both of them blushed, but the former was the one who broke the silence. "Yah! What was that for?" Sungmin said as she started hitting Kyuhyun's arm.
"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Kyuhyun tried to block Sungmin's hits, but failed to do so. As if on cue, his hands grabbed her wrists and he pulled her in for a kiss on the lips. "What? Can't I kiss you? I mean, I've already kissed you before" He said as he pecked her lips again.
Sungmin smirked, which Kyuhyun found sexy, and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I was just kidding. This would be the first time you kissed me ever since you started courting me, Mr. Cho. I thought you wanted to take things slow."
"I want to, but your lips are so plump, so irresistible" Kyuhyun was about to kiss her again as he placed his hands on her waist and pulled her closer. Good thing the seat belts were expandable.
Kyuhyun's lips were just half an inch away from Sungmin's when the latter decided to pull back and leave the former hanging. "Maybe next time. I'm already hungry" Sungmin said as she laughed at Kyuhyun's position.
"Fine" Kyuhyun groaned as soon as he realized that he got tricked. He fixed himself and started driving, while thinking of where they could eat lunch.
While the stoplight was on Red, Sungmin held Kyuhyun's hand that was on the shifting gear and entwined their fingers. They smiled at each other and the former moved closer to the latter and pecked him on the cheek. "As much as I want to kiss you on the lips, the stoplight's already Green."
Sungmin moved back to her seat as Kyuhyun began driving again. Even though it was only the radio that was breaking the silence in the car, the aura was still very vibrant.
They arrived at a family mall and decided to have lunch at an American restaurant, all the while oblivious to the fact that someone was following them.

"What's taking so long?! It's already been 5 months and you still haven't solved my daughter's case. You are pathetic!" Mr. Lee lost his patience as he yelled at the investigators and the police. His patience had already wear out, but it was a good thing Mrs. Lee was there to calm him.
"Sir, it's not as easy as it looks like. We're doing our best to resolve this as soon as possible. Believe it or not, some cases take years to finish, so please calm down" The head investigator said.
"We're still examining the knife that was found in your daughter's body as well as the other evidences we found in her room. We'll begin getting DNA samples from those who live here as soon as the results are already with us" The head investigator's assistant added.
"Thank you so much, officers. If there's nothing to look for in my daughter's room, we'll begin cleaning it now. Please inform us as soon as the results are in" Mrs. Lee said as she escorted the investigators and the officers to the front door.
As soon as Mrs. Lee closed the door, she instructed the maids to begin cleaning Sunkyu's room. She wanted to help in cleaning up her deceased daughter's room, but it was just too painful for her, because she could still remember clearly how her daughter looked like the night she was murdered.
"This will be over soon..." Mrs. Lee said as she brought Mr. Lee to the living room and continued to calm him down.
