A/N: 1st try at writing a chaptered yaoi fic. :3 /Feels nervous and runs away xD
As the plane landed in Incheon, Sungmin sighed a relief as he felt happy being back in his homeland. Being away for a very long time made him miss a lot of things, especially his friends.
After he left his shared apartment with Kyuhyun, he made his way to Heechul's and talked to him to make sure that his resignation letter was given to their boss.
When Sungmin told Heechul what happened, the latter almost marched down to the former's apartment with a knife in hand, ready to teach Kyuhyun a lesson. Good thing he was stopped in time. Who knows what might have happened.
Heechul was the one who took care of Sungmin until the date of his departure for abroad came. Kyuhyun did ask him on the latter's whereabouts, but instead of answering him, he would slam the door on his face.
Their whole office found out about what Kyuhyun did to Sungmin. Everyone felt rage towards the former and Kangin was ready to give him black eye, but was stopped in time by Heechul.
Kyuhyun couldn't take the hurtful words that were being thrown at him, which worsened the heartache and guilt he was feeling, so he resigned.
Sungmin got out of the airport and waited for Heechul to pick him up. He breathed in the fresh air and he was sure that he had already forgotten everything that happened 7 years ago and left whatever it is he had to leave in the U.S.A.
"Min!" Heechul yelled as he got out of his car and hugged the said man really tight. "I missed you" He added as he broke the hug.
"I missed you too, Chullie. How are you?" Sungmin asked as he placed his luggage in the compartment of Heechul's car.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking you that?" Heechul said as they got in his car and headed to his apartment.
"I'm fine. Look at me, I'm healthy, aren't I?" Sungmin smiled at Heechul and the latter smiled back at him. "I'm over it, Hee."
"That's good then. I can set you up with someone new" Heechul smirked, but laughed as soon as he saw Sungmin's facial expression.
"Aish. You and your deeds. I'm already dating someone" Sungmin blushed as he thought of his new lover.
"What?! How come you didn't tell me?!" Heechul glared at Sungmin and gave the latter a light smack on the head.
"I wanted to surprise you. We've been together for 3 years now and I'm pretty much happy" Sungmin giggled as he massaged his smacked head.
"I hate you for not telling me! Where is he then?"
"I love you too, Chul. He's just working on some things back in the U.S.A., but he's follow me here"
"Show me a picture of him. Let me see if you chose a good man"
"Wait" Sungmin said as he fished one of his jacket's pocket for his phone. "Here" He said as soon as he finished scrolling down his iPhone for a photo of him and his new lover.
"Woah! Good choice, Min. Good choice" Heechul complimented as soon as he saw the picture and patted his dongsaeng's cheek. "When is he gonna come here?"
"Maybe next month. His parents want me for him and they said that they'd take care of their family business while he's here with me."
"Don't tell me you're only here for a vacation. I'm gonna throw you out of my apartment!"
"I know how much you love me that you won't do that to me. Hahaha"
"Hmm. Yeah, right"
"I'm gonna be here for 2-3 years. I want to spend time with you and my parents."
"How about your house and work in the U.S.A.?"
"My boss loves me too much that he allowed me to take a long leave. As for my apartment there, I already own it"
"I'm happy that you're happy, Min"
"I'm happy that I'm happy as well"
"Yah! You sound like you're mocking me"
"I am not! Hahaha."
As soon as they arrived in Heechul's apartment, Sungmin unpacked his things first before they left to go out for dinner.
Heechul decided to bring Sungmin to a restaurant that served homegrown dishes, knowing how much the latter missed Korean food.
"About work, are you sure the principal's gonna accept me?" Sungmin asked while they were eating.
"Of course. You're good at counseling, aren't you?" Heechul replied, not minding the grain of rice that fell out of his mouth while he was talking.
"Heenim! That's so disgusting" Sungmin laughed as he saw it.
"You want me to speak more so it would fly to your face?!" Heechul glared at Sungmin.
"I'm sorry. I guess I just missed you so much" Sungmin giggled and continued eating.
"Oh, and you begin work tomorrow" Heechul said as he showed his tongue to Sungmin and resumed eating.
"What? I haven't even visited my parents and I'm already gonna work?"
"Who told me that they want to work as soon as they get back?"
"Ugh. Fine."
"You're only gonna work for 5 days, Min. What's so new about that? You have 2 days of every week to go wherever you wanna go or visit your parents."
"Alright. Alright."
As soon as they were done, Heechul went to the comfort room first while Sungmin waited outside the restaurant.
Sungmin looked around and smiled to himself. He missed Seoul so much. It has really been a long time.
As he was looking around, his eyes landed on the figure that was just across the street, staring at him. He felt that the person was familiar. A relative or a friend, perhaps?
Sungmin noticed that the person was about to cross the street towards him. As the person got closer and his face became clearer, his eyes widened as he noticed who it was.
All the feelings that he let go of suddenly came back to him and he remained rooted on his spot. Sungmin felt his heart clenched as he looked at the person that was the reason he left for abroad.
His thoughts got disrupted when Heechul pat his shoulders and got inside the car. "Let's go, Min!" Sungmin looked around and noticed that the person was gone.
He got inside Heechul's car and as soon as he looked back to where he first saw the person, he noticed that he went back to where he was standing earlier.
Sungmin took one last look before Heechul stepped on the car's accelerator. "Kyuhyun..."
