As the world started turning upside down, so did those that inhabit it. Just a few months ago, an epidemic was declared by the president of the U.S.A. after the news that a biologist accidentally dropped a test tube he was holding, which contained a virus that could change the living into something else, broke out.
It spread like a wildfire in the country and 2 days later, no one could be called a human being anymore. The country looked abandoned, though the very same occupants were still there, roaming around for something or someone to feed on.
Some say that there were still people there, people who have beating hearts, people who eat normal food and not the people around them. Since the outbreak though, they disappeared like a gush of air as they hid for their lives.
The virus didn't feel contented with infecting those that live in the American continents, so it went along with the air everyone breathed in until it reached the other continents and contaminated every human being in the world.
Well, not every human being left got it though. After the announcement of the president of the U.S.A., everyone went into hiding. Some even built their own safety house underground. Most of the people who got infected were the idiots who ignored and laughed at the news.
One of the survivors would be Lee Sungmin and her best friends, Lee Eunhyuk, Kim Heechul and Park Leeteuk. When the news broke out, the group was in Jeju Island for a vacation.
They tried to contact their parents, but they didn't get any answers. Since then, the four girls stayed together as they only had each other now that their parents became one of the living dead.
"Minnie, we're almost out of food. What are we gonna do?!" Eunhyuk said hysterically.
"What?! We just went out yesterday to get supplies" Sungmin replied as she approached to check on the fridge.
