"Yes, thank you so much" I say to the plane ticketing agent I was just talking to. Going away is the best option in order for me to move on. Kyuhyun already has someone to spend forever with, so I might as well find someone for myself then.
"Sungmin, are you sure about this?" Eunhyuk was seating on the couch in front of my desk together with Donghae. I have already told them everything, I received comfort and anger from them though. Eunhyuk even tried hurting herself after finding out what I did to myself a few days ago, but it was a good thing that Donghae helped me stop her.
"It's the only way, Hyukkie" I say to her as I stare at the bruise I caused a few days ago. Maybe this is how my heart looks like right now, or maybe even worse.
"Minnie, take care of yourself" Donghae says to me and I just smiled and nodded at him. I may be going away, but I still have no idea what I'd do there.
"Call us when you have time, okay?" Eunhyuk says as she walks to me for a hug. I'm not leaving yet, but their simple messages make me want to cry already.
"Save your messages for me tomorrow. Let's just enjoy the day together" I say to them as I stand up and pull both of them out of the door.
We went around the mall, just talking and laughing, not even minding about the weird looks we got from the customers. Oh, how I'll miss everything so much. Moving on takes time, right? So I'll probably be out of the country for a long time.
"Sungmin, you should try this! And this. And this one too" Eunhyuk was helping me in buying new clothes. The weather between Korea and the country I'll be going to is really different, so I might as well shop, right?
"Aish, Hyukkie, one at a time. The fitting room cubicle I'm in is flooded with clothes already" I say to her. Well, it's true, it looked like I was drowning in an ocean of clothes already.
"Fine, fine" Ah, finally. I've tried on a lot of clothes, but I don't know which ones to buy. The pink ones? The white ones? The blue ones? Ah, I'm so confused.
I had a hard time choosing, so I decided to buy the best ones. After shopping, we decided to watch a movie. "Why don't we watch Super Junior's new film? "Wonder Boys" movie is showing today" Donghae suggested. The three of us have always loved Super Junior. I can't even explain how much I love them.
"Yesung's scene was so funny! The way he got hit with the poop" Everyone in the cinema kept laughing even though the movie was already over. It was a really funny movie and I'd watch it all over again.
After the movie, we decided to have dinner at The Super Resto. It was one of the best restaurants in the mall. You can really feel the super-ness of the place just by the wonderful aura you get once you enter the place and of course, the food.
After dinner, Eunhyuk and Donghae decided to take off already. When I got back to the office, my father suddenly called me. Weird, huh? He never calls me at work, but it must be something really important. "Hello? Appa?" I say as I answered the call.
"Sungmin, we'll be having dinner at the Cho's residence tonight. Please head their after work" He says as he hangs up. Ugh, what's up now? I'm already full, plus I was gonna pack tonight, but I might as well go to tell them about my plan.
When I arrived at the place, a maid greeted me by the door and led me inside. My family was already there, talking to Uncle Han Geng, Aunt Heechul and.. Kyuhyun. "I'm sorry for being late" I bowed.
"Ah, Sungmin's here, let's eat so we can already tell everyone the news" Aunt Heechul beamed. News? What news? I don't know what's wrong with my heart, but it feels as if it's going to drop to the floor just by hearing what auntie said.
Dinner was noisy, as usual. I could feel Kyuhyun looking at me every now and then, but I always look away before we could even make eye contact. The talks were all about business and Kyuhyun and Seohyun. Maybe the reason why they invited me is to see if I'll get jealous. Nah, maybe not. Aish, might as well tell them the news. "With all due respect, I would like to say something" I stand up and everyone had their eyes on me.
I was about to continue, but Aunt Heechul cut me off. "I would like to make the announcement first, if you don't mind, Sungmin" she smiles at me. Well, I couldn't do anything but to respect her and just sit down again.
"Kyuhyun and Seohyun, you've been dating long enough. We're planning on getting you married by the end of the year" Aunt Heechul announced. My heart broke more as I heard the announcement. I wanted to shout because of anger and cry because of pain, too much pain. I haven't even moved on yet and this just had to come. I stood up from my seat and ran away, leaving everyone dumbfounded by my action. I didn't care anymore, I just wanted to cry.
It's time for us to part, but for the mean time, please take care of my heart.
