Congratulations! Direction is still something that eludes me...

I thought you were moving to Portland next year...? France is pretty sweet though... what would you like to teach, and where?

Sorry I didn't respond to your response (how circular...) I'm doing really well actually... figured out I'll graduate close to on time (stupid internships...) but I don't really know what to do after that. I'm taking a page from Mike's book and just going with the flow. We'll see what happens :) I'm in no hurry.

I'm applying to an assistanship program to teach English to French school children, and I will go pretty much where ever they put me though I think I will be requesting mostly northern cities. Of course if I am not accepted I will be going to Portland to work a temp job until I go on to grad school--but France sounds so much more fun and so much more applicable to what I want to do with my life, which is be as cultured as possible. Therefore, I am learning to describe wines and to distinguish cheeses by taste! (Haha, that was a joke, I hate wine

Oh Alison, you make me smile. I once told Dale for his birthday we should go wine and cheese tasting, but then we decided we liked cheese much more than wine... and what's the point of spending all that money if you could go to the store and buy cheese for much cheaper? Champagne and pink lemonade is fabulous... much better than wine. You should try it

I will be going home Wednesday evening, I am helping my friend make some curry for her students and of course Mme Hamblin has stuff assigned for us that Wednesday morning...

But yeah! We really should do something for New Years, I am even planning to make myself a pretty dress. Michelle and I discussed possibly dancing in Seattle? What do you think?

Have you been loooooooooking at rings? My little sister's friend is getting married, therefore this weekend we are going to Vancouver to the French lingerie shop.
