it's wasn't a very big sample and there weren't a lot of us to begin with, but in the end i think i can safely conclude that someone or something has the ability to see into our subconscious and transmit the images there onto the television, and maybe other media. scientifically that makes no sense, but i've seen enough in this city that lets me ( Read more... )

hey... you don't think it's the network itself that's the connection between us, do you? is that what we've got in common or... the path that's leading them to us?

It isn't smart posting something like this on the Network, public or private.

how do you figure? if they've got access to my thoughts, then there's not much i'm capable of hiding from them. so it's just a matter of sharing observations before i disappear.

Supposing, hypothetically, these people do have access, it might be through a specific medium. There might be limitations. They might not have access to our thoughts at all and the information they gather is from another source. So long as you don't know all the ins and out of an enemy's abilities, it's safest to patch up every hole you can.

Of course I'm just speaking generally.

Personally, I don't like keeping even remotely sensitive information on a computer. Call me traditional.

don't get me wrong, i think you're totally right about this being a terrible idea. but all signs are pointing to this happening because of a direct link to our heads, and i'm operating on that theory. now i've put myself out there and if anything happens to me, you can safely bet that at least something i said was so sensitive it had to be silenced.

it's a risk. but it's already been beneficial.
