Yeah, First Amendment protections here are quite broad. It's annoying in cases like this, but the idea is to keep the government out of the business of deciding which opinions are legally acceptable to talk about.
There are some exceptions - for example, there are laws that prohibit misleading advertising. (Political ads are an exception, though; First Amendment rights tend to be interpreted especially broadly by the courts when political speech is involved.)
