I made bread Saturday. It didn't rise (when I baked it) nearly as much as I would have liked but it IS good bread. So, I made about 5 doz. peanut butter cookies. I'll walk some to the library staff tomorrow.

Not a glimpse of the eclipse here through the snow.

I made brownies-from-a-box yesterday. I added an update to the bread saga. My verdict: could have been better, could have been worse and oh, those grilled cheese sandwiches!

I love that phrase "a brisk sit", something I'm engaged in right now.
I love good old white bread but we"ve been trained not to admit it.
Hoping it turned out well!
Both the Scamp and the Husband are looking well.
