there is absolutely nothing I can think of to say. I'm glad he was at home with those who loved him. I am so very sorry.

Truly, you did the best thing possible for him by surrounding him with his humans until he just...went. He wasn't in a strange place among strangers and that is always a comfort for both man and beast. He was just as lucky to have you as you were to have him.

All: going to stay off social media for awhile because the sight of his little face sets me off and one 15-minute amount of ugly crying is about all my blood sugar can take.

*Hugs* The loss of a pet is never easy but I think Scamp left this world in the best way possible, surrounded by the people who loved him.

Actually, he died alone. But he'd been greeted not terribly long before his passing. And he died in a spot of his choosing.

By surrounded I meant in the home of those who loved him and not at the vet's office, Should have been more explicit. *hugs*
