I am SO glad not to have to deal with that kind of panic here (at least so far). But then it is in the whole Scandinavian culture to kind of keep your distance anyway.

I am, however, having a great time playing with all of my seedlings and such.

Ah...my orange clivia are blooming. And I'm getting many scapes on my outdoor hippeastrum herd!

Hand sanitizer is for when you're out of the house for whatever reason and don't have access to handwashing facilities. I had a couple of small bottles so we're good. But there is none to be had in the stores or pharmacies should one need it.

FB is indeed a sewer. People have one-track minds which is normal I suppose but I'm sick of the repetition.

It's almost a relief to be on lockdown here in Spain because finally we know exactly what to do...which is exactly nothing. Stay inside! I just wish I could walk outside as that's my doctor prescribed therapy but I'll have to take 500 turns around the yard or something. Oh well. I'll walk off the extra 20 lbs that are sure to accumulate eventually.

Couldn't you and Manolo walk a respectful distance from each other and pretend you don't know each other if The Enforcers show up? I have every intention of going out on my bike.

That's great news about the hippeastrum herd and I'm looking forward to photos!

The issue is that not even a person who is alone can be out doing exercise or recreational walking. That is solved by carrying a shopping bag in your hand, I suppose because you can always say you're headed for the supermarket down the street or the bakery. But maybe if we both carried bags...
It's going to be a long, hard lockdown...
