  1. Any given program, when running, is obsolete.
  2. Any given program costs more and takes longer each time it is run.
  3. If a program is useful, it will have to be changed.
  4. If a program is useless, it will have to be documented.
  5. Any given program will expand to fill all the available memory.

#13 kinda reminds me of Heisenbugs. :)

Oh, and there's also a very nice (and very true) statement going around about software programs:

The following two statements hold true:
1. Every program can be shortened by at least one instruction.
2. Every program contains at least one bug.
Thus, it follows that every program can be reduced to a single instruction that does not work.

Think about it. :)
