There aren't even words to describe how grateful I am to the friends and family (and fans!) who made my launch super-special!! B&N sold out of books and tolerated our rowdiness and I couldn't have asked for a better way to usher Blaze into the world! Thank you all!! A few pictures of the pink-infused fun!!

I've been a busy writer-bee this past month. When I finally emerged from my revision cave last week it was only to discover that I'm woefully behind on... everything. Okay, I can admit it. When it comes to having my picture taken I can be a bit of a ham. There is photographic evidence in my family's albums that proves this is very likely an inherited trait. I heard from my editor yesterday that she has in her possession actual final copies of BLAZE! Squeee! I can't wait to see it with all of Anne Cain's amazing drawings inside. The book is scheduled to drop on shelves in less than two months. Since the release date was pushed back by six months I feel a little more like "Finally" than like "Wha?" But ( Read more... )

So excited I was able to attend part of the Woodstock Film Festival this past weekend! I saw two movies and had fun mixing it up with all the filmophile folks. Best of all I got some amazing research done for the WIP. Woot!
