I thought I was the only was so happy about voting. Lol, it's my first time I'm allowed to vote and I felt like a dork for being so happy, cause not a lot of my friends are into it. I just feel like it effects you personally in your daily life and the people around you, so it's really important to go out there and vote :)

Hmm.. I don't think that registering to vote increases your chances of jury duty... interesting though.
I got called for jury duty once in SD and they didn't pick me for a funny reason.
The case involved the court calling in a translator to translate from Spanish to English..and since I am fluent in Spanish..they asked if I could not "listen to the witness speaking Spanish but only listen to the translator in English".. I said, no because that's like the same as you asking me to not listen in English...so they said.. bye bye.
