Seriously, Paramount?

I went to a movie recently and was excited to see a semi-preview for Avatar: The Last Airbender, the movie. If you aren't familiar with it, go here. My son started watching this show, and I found myself getting caught up in it. Great graphics, great story. I thought, Oooh, this oughta be great as a movie! The trailer was pretty generic, showing

I adored the show! It was like a high-budget American take on a Japanese anime series. I thought it was fantastic.

I was skeptical when I heard it was being made into a movie. I thought it would be hard to condense the entire series into one movie. Then I heard it was being directed my M. Night Shyamalan.

I knew it would be bad from that day on.

I'm sure it'll be entertaining to someone who has never seen the series. But if you have, it'll just be disappointing.

I'm seriously sooooo disappointed about this movie. I really love the series. I need to rent it and watch it in order, though. I only catch it every now and then.
