I don't like Hilary Duff's being on the show either. And like you said, a new love for Nate was to be expected.
The only thing excites me is CB love!! :)

Me too. Hilary Duff just doesn't fit into GG. Not just because she's a disney-girly girl. Maybe that's just our opinion - after all great minds think alike ;)

And I absolutely love the fact that Hilary duff is going to appear in the next season. And about her being a disney star, isn't it about time she leaves that behind her.

IDK, I probably would've doubt her fitting in if she hadn't surprised me in Ghost Whisperer.

I would've never pictured her in that serie either.

But I guess we'll see what she'll bring to the show. :)

I can't help, but laugh at the comment they made on Nate's new love interest. It seems that the writers thought every relationship Nate has had was Romeo/Juliet-esque. lol. And new relationships forming? They're always breaking up people on this show and hooking them up. It's kind of old.

I'm looking forward to Serena's storyline involving her Dad. I want to see where it goes, and who will play her dad.

Also, how they'll handle my bbs, Blair and Chuck. I'm hoping that the writers show us how they're going to handle them in their relationship and all the feelings they're going through together. Relationships aren't the simplest things and I can't wait to see how they deal with it.

Me too! After they have waited so long - I really hope the writers don't screw up CB.

This show is getting dry. The last bundle of episodes have been excruciating. The writers need to focus way less on stupid guest stars and more on the core relationships/issues of the characters. THAT is what sucks people in. When there's too much contrived plot, you stop caring about the cast.

It's not just because of her 'disney years'. She isn't in her disney years anymore, that's right. But I just don't think that she fits into GG.

i think being on gg is a big step for hilary duff. she's not lizzie mcguire anymore (although i loved that show - even though i was over 20 when i started watching, lol). hopefully she won't play a huge goodie two shoes on the show, lol. :)
