well, the year got off to a good start,generally. the attorney general's office is going to send me a report on a company we're considering for waterproofing our basement. before the holidays the clerk in the a.g.'s office was most discouraging of my ever getting a report, and said it could be very expenseve. this was jacob marley personified.

I completely agree with you about hating ice. So far b'li ayin hara I've managed to avoid any serious damage but it is really dangerous.
