i found my pin cushion!

(it's been missing for at least a year. considering where i found it, it must have fallen out of my sewing basket as i was transporting the thing from one place to another.)

I was going to say, "How could you go a YEAR without your pin cushion??" But then remembered that it's been about a year since i've sewn anything. :( I miss sewing.

the main task where i really needed it was when i was trying to extend the pockets in a pair of pants. most of the sewing that i do these days is sewing on buttons, or sewing a rip in something where pins might be nice but i can fake it.

Oooh, were you able to extend the pants pockets?? I never thought of trying that! Not that i wear pants very often, since store-bought pants have too short a rise for me and, as noted above, i just don't have the time to really sew clothes much these days.

There's some PJs/loungewear i've been meaning to make for YEARS to wear at WisCon. I wonder if i can challenge myself to get it done in the next 6 weeks?
