Mm, that's a good idea. I've made a public post to show that my LJ is still active.

I used to have a public post that said it's a friends-only LJ, but it looks like LJ has changed and no longer shows older posts, even if there's nothing else to show.

every time LJ changes something it's basically a pile of hot garbage, but like you, i have people who are here who haven't made the switch. i have no idea why sometimes crossposting works and sometimes it doesn't, but if one can, it is certainly better to read me over at DW where all the posts make it rather than some random subset.

i guess i haven't said that in a public post for a while, but for people who haven't seen a post in a long time: DW is really my home base now, and if you create a journal over there, friend me and it will notify me--if you use a different name, just drop me a note to let me know who you are.
