make her watch the movie "Saved!" it's entertaining and has a great message. also, remind her that nuns don't have husbands but are widely regarded throughout the Christian world.

thank you for that. i was kind of worried while posting this that someone might think i am anti-religion in general, which i am not. i simply don't personally have much connection with it in my life.
i think religion should be uplifting and give people hope and joy and teach them to love. But waaay too many people use it simply to try to knock others down with threats of an afterlife in damnation for choosing a different lifestyle.
and i didn't think of the nun thing, but that would have been a great point. you're so smart. :)

if you say so...
if it was on dvd, i would also recommend the south park episodes with Satan and his "relationship troubles" in choosing between Saddam and "Chris" and Cartman's creation of a fanatical right-wing religious cult. They're hilarious and educational.
if it helps, i don't think there's a man out there than can match your wit and sense of humor enough to be your equal in marriage. that's all marriage is: finally meeting your match. if this kris chick insists you're going to hell for one reason or another (if you believe in hell), i'll see you there! ;)
p.s. i hope i haven't told you not to be vegan. it's your choice. i just don't understand how you gave up the chicken and cheese. :)
