What events in your life do you feel have shaped your personality?

I don't know if I can pick just a few events because so much of what I have went through in my life made me the way I am. What my biological mother put me through and witnessing her relationship with my father has made me and the way I am. I grew up taking care of everyone and making excuses for everyone's behavior. I took care of my baby brother while my mom was passed out and dad was at work. Then when they were fighting I protected him. I took care of my mom when she was so drunk and stoned she couldn't make it to the toilet. Even when I moved out on my own, I had to run to their house so they wouldn't kill each other because things got worse when I left home. Then I took care of my dad when he finally left becuase he didn't know how to budget his money and pay bills. I took my brother in over and over again because he was just like dad. I am a nuturer, a peacekeeper, and surprisingly pretty patient and sane LOL
