I am very nervous about starting this new school year. Wednesday and Friday are set up days at my new school. There will be time in the classroom and lots of silly meetings. Thursday I go to a meeting for all of the middle and high school theater teachers, that should be really interesting

I was lucky, in that I was starting a new program entirely, so I was very free to set things up without as many preconceived notions. That said, it was still a fine arts program, so both kids and parents took some convincing that this was not just going to be a cakewalk.
But, you know what you're doing, and they will figure that out-- even if you are doing it differently than they were used to.
I miss my kids. Miss 'em a lot. And am somewhat envious of your back-to-school excitement. :)

AS to the nerves, it's not nervousness, it's excitement about the great year you are going to have!
