Check with the Medicare intermediary...they should be able to give you info. The hospital should have a patient advocate of some sort and a social worker assigned (if you're talking about a patient). If the person has insurance, their insurance may want him/her to go to a specific durable medical equipment store. The hospital may have a durable medical equipment department as well. There's lots of options, check with patient's insurance first, though...if they have insurance.
