Huh...

So I have now had 3 people tell me to my face, and have heard others think that I am a different person when Chris is around... I don't see it, do I actually care what other people? I must care a little or I wouldn't be posting this. So what do I do?

what kind of different? More likable? More submissive? You need to find out what's different, decide if it's beneficial or not, and then decide what you want to do about it.

I think you want to figure out if it is either true or even appears to be true and find out why. There is nothing wrong with that. It is not about caring what that other person thinks, but finding out why they think that so that you can choose how to deal with it.
