Breed Banning

I thought I would make a poll to see what others opinions are on banning certain breeds. My personal opinion is that no breed should be banned but that breeds who are causing problems because of bad owners/breeders should be highly regulated

There should be more emphasis on the sorts of people allowed to own dogs. It's almost always the person at fault.

We practically lived in Ireland for years, and half the people were skitz about our Dobermanns. My folks have a rottweiler now, and she is the sweetest, happiest, most soppy creature you've ever laid eyes on, but you get funny looks in the street thesedays due to that baby being savaged by the two practically-rabid rotties at that pub recently.

Is it the fault of the dog or the particular breed? Is it hell. Keeping a dog should require as much if not more legislation than fostering a child does. Your 5 year-old care isn't likely to go out and tear someone's throat out, unlike a maltreated dog.
