I now have, hanging on my living room wall, a beautifully framed set of original artwork from the mad science web comic Girl Genius by Phil and Kaja Foglio.  This feels both incredibly geeky (It's a web comic.  With Mad Science!  And Death Rays!) and incredibly grown up (It's original art, that I paid a lot of money to get framed).  (Not to mention

It's grown up geek, which I think is a nice way to be. It's past the plastic anime posters, but not quite the large eyed kitten prints that are the province of old ladies. It's a good halfway point that hopefully we'll all hover over for a long time.

Anyway, get yourself a digital camera and take some pictures.
