I spent about an hour on the phone with their customer service last night because my free state didn't download and the program kept prompting me to spend an additional $45 on it. Thank god I didn't have one of those customer service reps who tries to blame the customer for everything. She was actually helpful.
I have to buy a second state. $45 is a bit steep for a second state, but it's pretty convenient that the information all carries over between the returns. Glad to hear their customer support is okay though.
Yeah, working across state lines is irritating tax-wise. I kind of did that, but I made less than $600, so my NJ state tax liability would be $0. So pfft. I got a woman who giggled a lot and reminded me of an older friend I had in high school. Makes me feel like I should call that friend again.
