After Heechul left Love Café, Jaejoong couldn’t stop bugging his best friend about taking the opportunity to be a one-time model for a famous industry.
“So, are you going to take the offer?” Jaejoong kept on asking his best friend for every second that he gets.
“Still thinking about it.” Han Kyung replied back as he mops the floor.
“What is there to think?” Jaejoong asks. “It is just a one-time model. Take it as your part-time job, but it’s just a one-time thing.”
“And how would you know if it will be just a one-time thing?” Han Kyung asks. “What if he keeps on bugging me to be his model? What if something happened and he wants…”
“That is a possibility.” Jaejoong nods his head. “But won’t it be great for you? You will be a part-time model for the famous industry in Korea. Aren’t you excited just thinking about it?”
“No.” Han Kyung immediately replied back. “I don’t want to be famous. Why do you think I came to Korea in the first place?”
“Oh, right…” Jaejoong made a blowfish face. “You were famous in China.”
“Correct.” Han Kyung said. “And I don’t plan on becoming famous in Korea either. I like the way I am now; ordinary and low-class.”
“What’s so great on being low-class?” Jaejoong mumbles. “You need find more than one jobs in order to survive.”
“Well, my dear friend, that’s your life.” Han Kyung says. “You choose the path that you want. For example, I just need one job to survive. I have a nice friend who let me stay with him. So, I’m basically covered for the living.”
“Ha-ha, very funny…” Jaejoong mocked. “Oh, did I mention that tonight’s dinner is on you.” Jaejoong sticks at his tongue.
“WHAT!” Han Kyung shouts. “You did not mention that.”
“Well, now I did.”
“Why aren’t you cooking?”
“I have a date.”
“A date?” Han Kyung asks. “With who?”
“Who else besides the fake boyfriend.”
“Oh… Where is he taking you?”
“Have no clue.” Jaejoong shrugs. “He just told me that I have to skip my second job and be at the apartment before he does.”
“Oh, I’m sensing that he is going to take you to a fancy restaurant with candle lights and music.” Han Kyung starts daydreaming.
“Well, to burst your bubbles, I don’t think that will ever happen.” Jaejoong says. “I mean why would he take me to a fancy restaurant. He doesn’t even like me.”
“Hey, you might never know.” Han Kyung says. “Unless he actually tells you that he dislikes you.”
Jaejoong rolls his eyes. “How many times do I have to tell you that there isn’t going to be anything between us? It is just a contract.”
“Sure, whatever you say.” Han Kyung says, continuing mopping the floor.
