Here's a little snippet of lyric that was eventually cut out of the production. Love the song so decided to share it with you guys (and gals and all in between). The scene takes place in the second act where the record keepers now sing 'Time To Turn The Page'. The original scene was Yehenara singing to Kuang Hsu and the Empress Dowager singing to ( Read more... )

hmm... well the scene was never performed to a live audience so i think you're probably thinking of 'Never Say Goodbye' which has become 'Time To Turn The Page', the Record Keepers' song in act 2?

Hey. Caught Forbidden last Sat nite. Enjoyed myself. Burst into hysterics when Hossan and Seb were relating the tale of Pang Gu and Juwanda laughed and clapped. I was sitting 5 rows from the stage, so wondering if anyone heard my extra loud laughter...

Well Done! U look SO MAN. :-)

yup i agree. I love the colourful costumes! i was just wondering, do you feel that it gets monotonous after performing for so many days in a row or is the excitement of being involved in it still there? -steph

it's coming to an end soon. =( anonymous September 27 2003, 06:01:30 UTC
So, FC is drawing to an end pretty soon. What are your feelings about it? I guess tomorrow's closing show will be an emotionally charged one as everyone will be giving their best, and yeah, I will be there again too. (How could I miss the closing show right???) You do your best for the remaining few shows too okie? =)

Paid more attention to you and the ensemble yesterday, and I realised you play quite a significant role amongst the ensemble too. You were pretty good yesterday too (sorry if my presence right in front proved to be a distraction... lol) I especially liked the dance with Prince Tun, thought it was one of the best cheorography in the whole musical. There were other highlights in the musical as well, but I feel that the ensemble played a really important part in the whole musical. In fact, it's them who makes the musical come alive! =) *clap clap* for you!

Anyway... good luck for the remaining shows! And most importantly, have fun! --- ting

yeah we'll be playing a lot during the matinee performance. it's a traditional thing that when a show closes the last matinee show will be the one where everyone plays practical jokes on each other. haven't decided what to do yet though lol but the night performance will definately be our most emotionally charged one. will definately be crying when the curtains go down for one last time ( ... )

Hahahaha... ask me to explain what I mean by significant role ah? Is that gonna boost your ego? =P Okie, lemme see. In the train scene, you were one of the first few to sing your lines. And the, during the train scene.. you went after the mad woman, and George Morrison shaked your hand to thank you. And then, when the emperor was growing weak, and dying, you was the one who led him off his throne. And during the last scene, you guys appeared in, you shouted something too (but I honestly cannot make out what it was) So, somehow, you appeared more obvious than the rest of the cast lah. But then again, to the normal audience, I dun think they can really tell you guys apart ( ... )

hahha saw you!! thanks for coming down again and for asking me to sign your book and for standing during the bows. really touched. honestly!! :) don't think you'll ever irritate kit lah. yes, i realised she's a nice person during last year's run of the musical. no airs about her and she doesn't treat herself like a big star. have always liked her singing but dun really listen to chinese music so was never a fan or anything. anyway, you've got reasons for coming down mah. it's not like ur stalking her or something lol ( ... )
