OMG, Stephanie, if I didn't know better, I'd swear James wrote that post. You guys are TRULY "one flesh", dudette! I can't tell where James ends and Stephanie begins! (good..) ;)
Oh, and *big hug*. I've got to say that it really bothers me that so many of my friends actually sound almost apologetic for what they write in their own journals. Sweetie, if I didn't want to read your posts, I'd remove you from my f-list. Also worth noting: people who genuinely care about you (read: REAL friends) want to know what is going on with you - good or bad. Ok? *gives her another big hug* I'll be praying for you to find another job. What about the 911 dispatcher job? Does that look like it wouldn't work out?
I tried to reply to you yesterday and it wouldn't work!
Thank you so much. I can't help but be a bit paranoid... We've all had the friend who seemed to only ever have bad things going on in their lives. We love them, but yet they bring us down, so it can be hard to be around them too much...
Thank you for your prayers!
The 9-1-1 dispatcher thing is seeming less and less like a good idea. There were some parts of the process that weren't totally clear at first... Basically, they accept a number of applicants to start going through a training program, throughout which you go through a series of tests to weed out the weak and the sick ;) If I read it correctly, even if you make it all the way through, you are put on an unsorted LIST, which sounds very much like a waiting list.
So basically, you could not make it at any point and be jobless, or you could make it all the way and still be jobless!

Having friends like us who love you no matter how much you gripe, good.
Hang in there, babe.
