Living with birds
I just got back from seeing my new house with DeeAnne about an hour and a half ago! IT WAS AMAZING! I'm going to be living in a National Wildlife Federation licensed bird sanctuary, home to over 80 native species PLUS migrants! It was beyond gorgeous, and I could barely take it all in. So I woke up today like I usually do: Ember flew on me at about 7:30 and curled up under the blankets with me. I started to go back to sleep when I felt him rubbing on my arm a lot. It was weird, so looked over to see what he was doing.

I don't like firewater
Happy 21st birthday to me! Last Wednesday was my jolly old b-day, and boy was it a memorable one! I got totally wasted on jasmine tea, and then I got SO high on calculus. I found out today that my scholarship was $6000!!!! WHOA! My mom thought I was lying when I told her! The school of forestry and natural resources is even having a banquet to present me with the award! Other people will be receiving awards there, too. I'm so incredibly happy. I really enjoy a good bout of procrastination.
I had spring break not last week, but the week before, and it was SUCH a relief to get some rest finally. No 5am practices, no calculus homework [until the end], and no Latin names to study. NICE.
