Sweden- neutral no more?

 Looks like the newspaper in Örebro (where I live) has ruined sweden's neutral reputation. A cartooonist for out paper (Nerikes Allehanda) drew a picture that insulted Örebros Muslim population. A protest broke out immediately after the publication asking for an apology but none was given.

Now al-Qaida will pay $100,000 to whoever kills the artist

why is there no similar outcry from Christians about the myriad Christian bashing cartoons published in a given day? maybe Muslims are just more sure that their religion is right, maybe its just more worth fighting for?

I think we tend to cry out in different ways. We're just not asking our country to kill those in charge. Besides, we get quite a lot of critique especially for the more radical groups out there...

Publishing a cartoon of the head of the prophet on a dog's body during Ramadan? I wouldn't say its WRONG, but it's certainly not in very good taste. I don't see why they wouldn't just, you know, apologize for insulting masses of people. If I said something that hurt someone's feelings, even if I stand by what I said, I'd still apologize for having hurt them.

Because hey, I don't want to hurt people, and also, I don't want to have bounty hunters on my case.
