Oh, this is wonderful! What a fantastic beginning, and so well written! I love the subtlety here, the gentleness of the story, despite its strength. Excellent, I can't wait for the next part!

No, I appreciate the slow-burners. And I just love the linguistic lesson. Would you or Spock care to translate that in the next part?

...Does Vulcan as a language exist? I mean, in the same way as Klingon? I'm a linguist myself and interested in these sorts of things...

Vulcan language dictionary! There is also a Romulan language.

hahaha, i just went there myself to translate! i liked the phrase you picked, btw, and i can't wait for part 2! i like the... the quiet sort of compromise, of growth between them. there's pace there, imho. *grins*

slow paced? Not at all! The term in UST and honestly, I can never get enough of it!
