Days are good. Sagramore has an unofficial puppy half-grown mongrel, and even though the coffee is almost entirely gone he is still in pretty good spirits, especially with August almost over and the promise of autumn on its way. Ada has not quite found her niche when it comes to household chores, so her entrance into the kitchen is doubtless in search of something. She glances at Sagramore and a little laugh escapes, though she claps her hand at once over her mouth and looks down, blushing brightly.
