I know this is probably old news to most of you by now, but my hero JK Rowling held a press conference in Carnegie Hall this past weekend to read passages from Deathly Hallows and answer questions. She revealed a bucket of brand-spanking-new information - Neville marries Hannah Abbott, Aunt Petunia wanted to wish Harry luck when they were saying

now dont get me wrong, im totally thrilled dumbledore is gay (so sad that he got such a short time with this love... never fair, is it?)

but wasn't grindlewald still alive? put away in the prison he built? and voldemort went to him, and grindlewald wouldnt tell him where the wand was, and then died for it?

the last book brought out the most questions from me, by far. i guess im not ready to admit that this is the end.

YOU'RE SO RIGHT!! thanks for correcting me, I'm so embarassed haha. I think I was getting Grindelwald and Gregorovitch mixed up, thinking that Gregorovitch was the one trapped in Numrengrad (or however its spelled).
VOLDEMORT killed him, not Dumbledore. Go figure.
See, and now their whole relationship makes even more sense! Dumbledore couldn't bring himself to kill the man he loved, so Grindelwald raised a white flag (he shot it out of his wand, right?) and was imprisoned in the same prison that he built to hold those who opposed him.

I love these books so much. I really need to re-read Deathly Hallows, seeing as I obviously don't know it very well after 2 reads lol.

I am SO SO SO SO SO glad that I know you and that you wrote this because I'm starting the series over (and WILL get to the 7th book) and now I have a lot to look foward too.
