I have so much love for the Paradox series by wordstrings . It comes with the warning:

wow, thank you very much! that means so much more to me than you might think... i had been worrying about exactly that: doing this absolutely brilliant story justice. i have more scenes that i would love to illustrate, but they are so perfect and precious that i feel hesitant to sully it with my amateurish fanart. :(

Darling, authors are thrilled to receive any kind of art. I'm sure wordstrings would be ecstatic to get a series of illistrations of this quality. Have a little faith in yourself :D

I do have a tiny critic. Sherlock's eyes came out a bit crosseyed. A tiny shift of one of the irises would do wonders for his gaze.

d'awwww...thank you so much! i really would love to illustrate more scenes from this series, but i feel (after looking at other Sherlock fic fanarts) that i need some practice before trying my hand at someone else's sherlock/watson again...especially for this amazing story. :'D
