I would just like to say Interger Notation in Music (where C = 0, C#/Db = 1, D = 2, etc...) makes so much sense that I wonder why it took until the twentieth century to actually come up with it.

The proper way to pronounce Händel's name (Note the umlots) is [ˈhɛndəl] not [ˈhαndəl]. The alpha "ah" sound is an artifact of 18th century british laziness... And to drive to point home, the way most Americans pronounce it [ˈhændəl] is actually closer to the true German pronounciation than the British.

I have to give up deductive logic and Opera Seminar to take German 101 (which is a required for my major...)
