Yeah. So maybe it's just burnout---usually I go in cycles. I'm REALLY INTERESTED in something, then I drift away, then I'm REALLY FREAKING INTERESTED again. :D

Hetalia looks like a neat and quirky little fandom, but I won't catch it for at least a few months because I never get into a fandom until the fad is /long/ over.

Which country/ies do you play?

I'm in nearly the same boat. I mean, I may have just recovered recently but sometimes I feel like I don't get a lot of replies.

*nod* I promise I'll thread with you next time you post. Maybe we can build each others' confidence back up?

<3 The DR needs saving from the forces of evil. Or at least it should.

Hm. Well...for me sometimes it's like....a crapshoot. Idk. I comment a lot to other's posts but not nearly as much as I did back in summer, because I don't have that much time. I have some solid partner that I roleplay with too, so that always helps me generate comments (and makes me more secure XD).

I'm not going to say it's a matter of popularity (because Digimon isn't very popular and there was a HUGE influx of Digimon characters in CLDR after I posted with Joe more), but sometimes it is.

So I guess,...idk. Maybe try posting more? Or commenting? I can't really help you there, but just do what you think you should!

Yeah. I keep forgetting that the composition of CLDR's changed a lot since I was last really active and a lot of the characters mine had CR with have left, and the newer players don't know me.

That, and I suck. But I guess commenting and trying to build CR again couldn't hurt. It just feels...weird to be a stranger in a game I used to know so well.

OH HI BLUE RANGER! digivolution February 2 2009, 20:44:51 UTC
Mmm definitely. I felt like that when all the new people joined. In fact, I was a bit jealous and felt ouf of place! But! After I got over that jealousy and started actively threading with the new people, I discovered that, durrr, I was a new person in the beginning! It was stupid of me to be like that, but it was insecurity, plus all my friends were leaving CLDR and Viral had no one to thread with, etc etc, so that's why I brought out Joe (best decision ever imo).

That, or you could play somewhere else for a bit. I joined 8_dressing (another GREAT decision) and I'm way happier than I was when I was just in CLDR. Having two places that I rp at makes sure that I'm not bored, and also gives me more interactions!

*nodnod* I'll do my best to keep that in mind when I feel up to it.

Actually I've tried 8_dressing and in my experience it's even harder to get people to thread with you there than it is at CLDR. A lot of the posts go completely ignored, which is something that almost never happens at Capslock. But I guess it's the same thing again: I need to take the initiative to make comments.
