I have a question, the Amy one, what do you think of it? I personally love it and think that the texture looks great with it, but do you think it's *too* over powering or just right? I've asked many some think it's great the way it is but I've got two comments saying it should be lighter, what do you think?
I like it, actually (the Amy one) - the coloring works for me because the orange-y-ish kinda goes with the pants, to me and I like the brush, too. But then, I'm a sucker for paisley-ish things.
Yes, I know what you mean he looked so fake in that photoshoot. Glad it hit the expectations you were going for.
I asked evil_little_dog this just above you, but I am going to ask you too.

Thanks for commenting hun, I appreciate it, I always love to hear what you have to say!
Hmm... *studies Lea's art* No, I don't think making it lighter would be the way to go. It'd be a wee bit too wishy-washy and flimsy if you did that. The whole composition would lose integrity.
The thing with Amy is that people may too readily identify her with Fred and because Fred is seen as being a very innocent, naive bookworm (wrongly IMO - that girl has depth *G*) maybe making it lighter would enhance this sense of her character and make it more acceptable?
Anyway, you've taken your tones from the base photos, they complement the composition and, for me, the darker tones make Amy seem a stronger, more complicated, self-assured person. But you get that from her own expression and stance though in any case.

Lovely use of texture.
Aaand you even made the 'why-did-they-make-DB-look-like-wax?' photoshoot look good.
I didn't think that was possible *G*

Nope, wouldn't change it.
