Well I had my surgery today. I spent from 9am untill 4:00 this afternoon in the hospital. It sucked! First they couldnt get the IV started. They tried one hand 3 times, then switched and still couldn't get it. After about 10 minuets they finaly got it. its ok. its painful right now but the pain killers are my best friend when they kick in :) lol.. i get all the bandaging off monday so ill be fine after that. its the bandaging that hurts.. its too much pressure on my nose.

oh m'ellen! i love you! operations on noses fuckin freak me out and yeah i heard how ungodly painful it is afterwards. didn't they warn you? but you get to take the bandages off soon? and has it gotten any better looking or will you be bruised for a while?

yeah it was very painful afterwards. my doctor was like oh it wont be too bad blah blah.. because that was before the catscan crap so we didnt know it was a lot worse than we orginaly thought. my who septum was out of line so they had to fix it. yeah not a happy time. i get the splint and the rest of the bandages off on thursday. i cant wait. its such a pain in the ass. but the bruising is almost gone and my face isnt the size of a balloon anymore. my cheeks are still swollen but its not too bad. love you steph!
