Almost everyone has already left Tucson to go back to their homes for winter break. I, of course, am still here, because I have to work. I get to go back to Scottsdale in a couple days though, and I can't wait. It's so nice not to have to worry about school and grades and all that BS right now. Ironicly, most rich people are rich because they never spend money on anyone but themselves. such a small donation would be "expected" behavior. this is why movie stars are always doing those charity events, because they dont want to be grouped into the 'miserly' category. the christmas season just makes everyone realize it more (probably something to do with Dickens' christmas carol). You can always tell who actually cares about an cause or event, because the donation will number in the millions instead of the hundred-thousands. For some reason this is still perceived as being a big donation, though to rich people and movie stars it is a drop in the bucket.
besides, that store is mostly frequented by pompus people anyway. i'm impressed that the other gentleman was so kind in his donation.
Hope work isnt too bad and you have a fun time at home. :)
